Shiv Villa Homestay Near Lake Pichola

It was my first visit to udaipur. Booked shiv villas for 2 nights. Had amazing stay there. Below are some of the positives of staying in shiv villas: 1- 15 min drive from udaipur railway station 2 - owner will guide you to nearby market from where you can rent a scooty. 5 min walk distance 3 - city palace, bagore ki haveli, gang-or ghat, jagdish temple etc, hardly 15 min walk, within 1 km from property 4 - mr ranjit offered us terrace room which was very neat and clean, spacious with beautiful view of udaipur. Food was tasty, thanks to chef jaideep. Tea and snacks are offered when you demand. Service is fast 5- if you want to try some exotic food, tribute is within 100 mtrs. Up-re and other resturants are within 10 mins walk 6 - 10 mins drive to fatehsagar lake, big aquarium etc. Overall, full paisa wasool stay in udaipur.

We stayed with family @ shiv villa homestay udaipur for 3 days. Location tailormade for family + value for money. We parked our car in front of the house n one can cover city palace+ ghats udaipur old bazaar just by walking without thinking of the traffic ! took car to fateh sagar lake side for evening walk / camel ride/ morning time bycycle ride. All was very serene exp. View from rooftop was awesome. City palace/ jagmandir/ sajjangarh all can see. Food. Too good. For non veg lovers must try lal maas + chicken dhoongar ( both local dishes). We even got one packed while returning so that we can virtually stay for at least one more day! already planning for one more round. Thanks raoji an all other support staffs for making our trip a memorable one

Stay was excellent. We could easily found property location as host had added guided banners on the road streets. But the car parking facility was almost 1 km far from the property, which is inconvenience for guests. Location was near by the visiting places but due to car parking issue we could visit only one place at evening and other auto/cab was not ready to go to other places. One more problem was that our check-in time was 10 or 11 am but we have reached there at 3:30 pm but still room was not cleaned and ready for check-in and we have to wait out side of room to get it cleaned. Overall stay was excellent and safe. Host is friendly and ready to help you.

I generally come here to give feedback about Shiv Villa Homestay Near Lake Picholas but shiv villa homestay was an exception. Everything about the homestay was very beautiful. The rooms were neat and tidy and also very spacious. The owner will always make you feel at home with his behavior and his views in exploring the city. This homestay is situated at a very nice location near to the pichola lake and has pretty rooftop restaurants like khamma ghani and tribute at stones throw distances. As far as the next trip to udaipur is concerned, i won't be thinking of any other place of stay than shiv villa.

We stayed there from 26th jean to 29th jean 2022. The location of the property is at walking distance to city palace, gangaur ghat, and ambrai restaurant (famous for sunset dinners. The rooms very spacious and clean. The host, mr ranjeet, was warm and helpful, and shared some good authentic recommendations. Highly recommend this for an amazing experience (no complaints) at very affordable prices! our first trip to udaipur was a grand success due to the guidance of the host to some of the amazing places. We look forward to visit again and definitely stay at the same place )

This homestay is located at a very good location, all tourist spots are close. The rooms are very beautiful and spacious. Host ranjit and his family are very friendly and reachable all the time for any help needed. The only issue i encountered and would encourage the hosts to fix would be the acs, they make noises that woke me up at night multiple times. First i thought only my room had that issue with the ac but when we were moved to another room, we encountered the same issue. But other than that, the stay was very nice, thank you for your hospitality ranjit and family.

Excellent Shiv Villa Homestay Near Lake Pichola service, this is perfect place for staying in udaipur. They're humble with the services and i can say genuine people. Me and my wife didn't find any hassel in reaching this property, if i will get chance again to visit udaipur i will select shiv villa. Hotel manager was very much supportive our train was at 10. 15 pm and our check out timing was 12pm mid noon, i requested to extend my stay. Rooms are actually way better, that these pictures posted by the property don't give justice to them. Very spacious and clean rooms with an electric kettle and mini refrigerator. Also, there's a common kitchen and refrigerator on the terrace, along with the seating area. It's away from the hustle-bustle from the old city but still at a walkable distance from pichola lake. There is a motor-able road right to the gate of this property and has parking spots near the gate. Thank you, ranjeet ji. Will stay again for sure when i plan for udaipur in future.

The property is located at prime location. Lake pichola, city palace, fatehsagar, etc. Are very near. Food quality is very good and safety is also take care by them.

I was travel-ling with my son and wife for the first time in udaipur. This was during the diwali holidays. Shiv villa was comfortable and peaceful. Great location right outside the old city and near to amrai ghat. One hidden gem is the home food available here. The food is super tasty. However, one needs to inform much early to get the same. The proprietor runs his own restaurant in the city. The staff (specially karan is extremely helpful. Both ranjeet and his family are very helpful and make you feel like home. Overall a good experience.

The host and staff are always at your service. Very clean room. Ambiance is authentic. I loved the view of the city from the terrace. I had the best experience of homely dinner under the sky.

Rooms are so spacious and well decorated. experienced Verity foods including BF , Lunch n Dinner Staff behaviour is really appreciable the most attactive part is Lake n Hill view from top tarace. 1 Km far away from the market. overall good under budget. Enjoy ur Vacation.

Stayed here with family and the family suit was perfect as we were a group of 6. Rooms are spacious and well kept. The place gives you a mixed feeling of a staying at a Shiv Villa Homestay Near Lake Pichola as well as the warmth of staying at home and the food is absolutely delicious. The location is also perfect as most of the places are within a 2km radius, giving you an opportunity to take a leisurely stroll to the lake and explore other places. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning to visit.
