Shiva Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker

Our stay at Shiva Home stay was the best part of the entire Nainital trip. The rooms were absolutely clean. Their cook Girish was extremely sweet and well mannered. Infact the next time I visit Shiva I'm taking cooking classes from him, he cooks that good food. The night view and sunset was beyond description. It can only be experienced once you visit the place. We had ordered Lauki and tamatar aaloo for dinner and it was so tasty that I can eat it around the year. They grow their own food. Also, the lauki and tomatoes were grown in their own kitchen garden. You can also see the vegetables growing there. Jagdish uncle and Aunty both are very warm. Jagdish uncle also gifted us walnuts at the time of departure. Every time Baba calls us to Kaichi Dham we will be staying at this place only. They even have a small beautiful Shivaling.

We had a really great experience at Shiva Homestays. It seems to be the best decision to stay here as caretakers are very well behaved and organised, rooms are clean and arranged so well, and yes, scenic views from the property is so amazing that one can’t feel like to leave. Food was really tasty, do not miss their ginger tea. Felt so peaceful, I loved the whole experience….

I will remember this place my whole life. The location, the views, the food and the hospitality of mr tiwari and his son was impeccable. Hearing the 4 virtues of maharaj (neeb karori baba) from tiwari summarized my whole experience. The house is surrounded by nature, love and grace (even from the family dog A must stay and visit to this divine place.

We arrived late around 12 in the night. Mr jagdish was really helpful. Place is close to kaichi dham 1. 3km. Room and bathroom were neat. Just room and outside are selected only via a door. But overall good place to stay. Wish it could be a bit cheaper
