Shivanchal Homestay

Our stay at Shivanchal homestay was nothing short of spectacular. We arrived a bit late in the night and was finding it very hard to find a cab to the place, but our host was extremely helpful and came to pick us up as soon as we called and told our dilemma, even though it was way after midnight. The room was very neat and tidy. In the morning, we had the most delicious homemade breakfast cooked by the family owning the place. The place was absolutely beautiful with a breathtaking view right from our room. Overall the staff were really hospitable, treating us like family. They were extremely helpful even after we checked out, like helping us find transportation and checking on us, whether we were able to reach the right destination on time. Overall, it was like staying at a friend's place rather than a Shivanchal Homestay. Amazing experience. Keep up the great job.

Shivanchal Homestay is located on isolated peaceful area, 8-9 km away from main town. It take 20-30 minutes by car. If you want to stay away from noise and crowded area this Shivanchal Homestay is a good option. But if you want to stay near the main mall Road area it is little far. You can get taxi services directly from the Shivanchal Homestay. Hotel agent was very polite and helpful. Great service provided by little boy who worked in nearby Dhaba. He served us breakfast, lunch and dinner properly. Overall stay was good. During our stay Shivanchal Homestay wi-fi was not working.

I went here with my friends and spend a great time at Shivanchal homestay. It is located 8 km from Shimla and took us 10 mins by car. The location is peaceful and surrounding is really calm. The owner of the homestay is Rohit and his father and they both treated us really well during our stay. They also prepared us local food which was very tasty and hygienic. The rooms were very clean and it has balcony view too. I would highly recommend you to check this place. A big thanks to Rohit and his father for providing great facilities as such an affordable price.

I had visited to Svengali homestay few days back I found the location of the Shivanchal Homestay is very good and peaceful. Besides this the main credit to services and cleanliness of Shivanchal Homestay goes to Mr. Lucky. He is such a nice fellow takes care of guests very well . Cooks food very tasty and his behaviour towards guests is very familiar. You will feel like you are staying in your home. Owner of the Shivanchal Homestay is also good . A special thanks to Mr. Lucky who made our stay very comfortable in Shimla.

Our stay was excellent and very comfortable. Management person is very nice and polite. Everyone here is very polite. This place is very peaceful with nice view of mountains from gallery. The rooms and bathroom are very clean. If you are having problem reaching this place just contact the Homestay he will send the cab at your place.

Good stay. Its around 8 km from Mall road. Cab service available from there.
The home-stay take care persons are good and cooperative. The home-stay is around 8 km from Mall road. The bus stop is in front of the home-stay itself and bus service starts from 8 am in morning. They have there cab service if you want to opt for it.

A very good location and natural beauty. Staff is very friendly and food is home like . But Location is 5-6 Km from city centre point, No bus or taxi availed after 6. 00 Pm . If you take private taxi then you pay min amount Rs. -500 for little distance, No Ola has been available in this area . It is very good and Peace full area.

The stay was really good, we didn't find any kind of issue there, the location was very good and the property has a very good view. The room was excellent and the facilities provided was up to the mark. The caretaker was helpful and the food provided was really delicious. Property is safe for a stay, will recommend it to others.

Very good owner. Very supportive, easily to find home stay

The room was well furnished and the service was up to the mark. The only problem could be that it is located about 10km from Shimla but if you have your own transport (which we did) then this is the best and the most affordable option.

The rooms are good but it doesn't help us with the cold there. The food was good. Room maintenance can be better.

Hotel having superb location & clean room. Kitchen is also available here for food also a care taker is available to take care and also provide you food as per your request only 120/plate food will be as per your wish.
