SHIVPOOJA FAMILY LODGE AND RESTAURANT

The room had a broken toilet seat, the AC had a bad smell when turned on (hence I had to sleep with AC off), the room had cockroaches, and the pillow covers were stained and the sheets were of poor quality. No toiletries or any other service was provided. For the price of over 5k for a 2 day stay it felt like a scam. The only good thing was the location which was close to BARC

Room and amenities were good according to a short trip in Mumbai for two days. The size of room was a bit smaller rest all fine

There was no facility in the dormitory. One common bathroom used by even the staffs over these , bedsheet was not clean , fan is far away. literally horrible experience

SMALL ROOMS, WITH NO CROSS VENTILATION AVAILABLE, NO WATER AVAILABILITY INSIDE THE HOTEL. Hotel Owner Attitude wasn't good

There were no food facilities, just one small fan was among 4 people. Only it is good if you having interview at anushaktinagar like NPCIL interview. Mostly students come here because of the nearby location and cost effectiveness.

Overall good lodge but cover for mattress not provided, staff was ok and polite , litte hygene issue ,

Worst, the owner is very dis respectable and annoying. He is also non cooperative. Behavior was worst

Beds are a bit dirty and also dormitory was in just front of reception without any privacy. Receptionist also demanded copy of aadhar from me.

Bathroom flush is not working, room is dirty also, staff is talking very rudely, tv is not working properly, and there is no soap in bathroom

Not good no arrangement for water just one small fan in dormetry one should not choose the doremetry for the stay

Rooms are extremely small, you will fell suffocated, they are doing business only because of barc, npcil interview

This lodge is good and it is budjet friendly, the service providers were good nature d people, they will treat you like your brother, washroom facility is good, for bar c interview it is very good lodge, overall it is good.

If you have an interview or any other business at bar c then this is the best place as of today (19th mar, 2024) because there is no other hotel in this area. The rooms are too small for the price and one of the rooms didn't even have proper ventilation. If you want a more budget friendly option, explore at chembur. You can find auto rickshaws to come at bar c from there. However, if you are thinking of taking a room here or you already did and now you want a good destination for food then try the bus stand canteen just beside barc. Or you can also explore the mankhurd station market where you should find plenty of options.

The room rent is high compared to its size. They also charge 500-600 extra for early check-in which i didn't like. It's actually good for bar c interview since bar c is only 3-4 min walking distance from there. Also there are no nearby markets/hotels around. The most nearby market is around 25 min walking distance near mankhurd railway station.

Dormitory was not so well placed. The upper bed was very close to the ceiling fan. It poses a dangerous situation for any unexpected injuries. Otherwise it's okk

Room is too small. Bed is not more than 6 feet length. If you are taller, then you will struggle to sleep in this bed.

Co. Like make-my trip should avoid booking of such type of lodge without any facility. Staff behavior was rude. Moreover, bedsheets were not cleaned. Even pillow they are giving upon asking and that too without cover. No packed watter bottles were available and forcing everyone to drink water from tap which was not cleaned. Horrible experience. Worst in my life. Lots of mosquitoes were there in room upon complaining no actions were taken. They don't even hearing customer's suggestion. No serving of food even-though the word of restaurant is added in the name. Washroom was not cleaned and water was not passing thru drainage and all chalked up.
