Silent Brook Resort - Coorg

The stay was located in a beautiful scenic Section of the western ghat, which overlooks the Mandalpatti Peak. The cottages(even the basic ones) are large with good amenities. The staff are very kind/polite/supporting. The pool has a wallpaper worthy background to click nice pictures. Another plus point is that the rooms have a smart tv(you needn't bring a fire tv stick/etc). Now coming to what I feel the resort can improve on: 1. While the rooms are large in space, the bathroom is relatively small. Mainly, the restroom camode is situated right against the shower glass, making it a tight uncomfortable situation. 2. The food spread(dinner/breakfast) is good, but can be better. As the price point(per night) is almost comparable to other nearby resorts(e.g. Ayatanna), the food/buffet spread is lacking. Also the restaurant can be made a tad bit more fancy. 3. Considering that this resort is on a side of a hill, way out into the wilderness, it's expected to run into bugs/insects. This is not usually a bother, except in two scenarios - (a) in the restaurant - where insects swarm around the bright restaurant/glass house (b) the swimming pool which is minimally littered with dead flys/insects. I'm not sure of the solution, but it needs to be looked into. Maybe use one way glass for the restaurant so it doesn't emit much light outside? 4. The parking lot - needs a cement/solid grounding. Attempting to park on rubble isn't pleasant. Also, add a shed or some form of shade providing structure for 4 wheelers of customers. The sun is harsh and would cook the car during day times. This resort is new, so I'm not disappointed the above expectations were not met - but I'd like to see them implement it if they wish to stand out.

The overall stay, staff behavior, and food were excellent, but the atmosphere could be more lively. We booked a room with a jacuzzi that offered an amazing view of the hills. However, it lacked privacy, although curtains were provided. The room was clean and well-maintained, but the shower gel bottle was empty, giving the impression that it hadn’t been replaced after the previous guest. That said, they do provide replacements upon request. The playground for kids is great, with a few rides to keep them entertained. The restaurant is excellent, especially if included in your package with a buffet option. Otherwise, it can be a bit pricey. Overall, I highly recommend this place for family trips.

A beautiful, well maintained resort with great amenities nestled between lush green coorg forests and plantations had us becoming one with the glory of mother nature. The staff are extremely kind and caring including the manager mr reddy. The very hospitable chef mr anuj and his team including the ever smiling and cheerful shiva served us with some very delectable local corgi as well as indian and continental cuisine which was thoroughly enjoyed by us. We will most certainly return soon with more friends and family. The silent brook is highly recommended by us for anyone looking for a quiet peaceful stay in mother nature’s lap.

It's a new property situated on a hilltop with amazing views and amidst nature. It is a Silent Paradise. Rooms are Large and with all the amenities that are needed. Views from the rooms are very scenic. Food is very tasty, and served in quick time. Breakfast has a nice spread. A river flows adjacently which can be heard in the silence. Sit in the balcony immersed in great views with a cup of tea , listening to the chirping of birds and flowing water is surreal. Staff is Fantastic and eager to help. Things to work upon: Instant Hot water availability in bathroom, Swimming Pool Cleanliness.

the stay was good and quite away from the main city. the food quality was also good and the service of the staff qas nice however rhey need to make th guy at front desk more nice coz he had a poker face and no courtesy at all . also the resort had a very very steep hill so to go to restaurant we had to call the car which came on our doorsteps and took us to club food pool etc thr car came quick no delay also as it was nea r the trees and all there were insects in the room not due to lack of hygiene but because of the trees and all

It was a great stay especially made better by Anuj and team! Anuj was very caring and took care of all our dietery needs. He made sure quality of food was upto to the mark always for us! Thanks Anuj, keep up the good work. Location was quite good amidst the nature and lush greenery, away from the hustle and bustle of city.

Excellent Silent Brook Resort - Coorg with a great view of the valley. Rooms were clean and the restore staff were friendly. 4x4 pick and drop from room to resturant is available in case you cannot climb the steep walkway. The food varieties are good but they don't serve the local cuisine

location was not that good...they don't have any open space...it was in a steep territory...food was decent...

Stay was good, room is also very spacious and comfortable and as name of resort suggests, the room is silent and at peace. There is scope of some betterment at restaurant foods.

Very beautiful location surrounded by mountains n jungle. Excellent hospitality n service. Nice n big n clean rooms with balcony with mountains view . Food is good but service at restaurant is too good .Only no walking possible as steep climb to reach any where though car is always available for internal commute.

Property location is great, specially the tree house where we stayed was isolated, cozy with a unique lit pathway and had perfect view of jungle n mountain from balcony. Overall a wonderful stay.

The silent brook resort has an awesome location with a steep climb to the top of the cottages. The view from the top is prestine. The rooms are cosy and have a warm jacuzzi which was a wonderful experience.

Location was excellent , breakfast was nice . Overall a nice hill resort in Coorg , Felt like a 5 star resort
