Silent Shores Resort & Spa

Property is very nice. Reasonably big and neat and clean. Location is good too. Hygiene : average to good. Not excellent. Food : i would say average especially the lunch buffet i did not find up to mark and restaurant staff try to make sure guests go for buffet rather than al-carte. For sure there is scope overall to improve the food. Ambience is excellent especially during dinner when it is arranged on lakeside outside. Room service : level is good. Only issue i would point out is that locker inside room does not work and they did not bother to fix that even after calling. Other scope for improvement : the reception area looks very ordinary due to the average sofa sittings. Same is true for sofa kept inside the room. I would suggest resort to improve on this. The property overall is very nice(for people with smaller kids it is quite good to spend time here, with some of suggested improvements they can make it much better.

We were pleasantly surprised by the sheer size of the property. Loved the greenery around with the water bodies and true to its name was really quiet and calming. When we were checking in, saw a huge wedding gang near the check in counter and were apprehensive if we will get a room on time. Surprisingly it was quick and efficient. Once we settled down, we realised that our ac was not functioning properly. It would work for 20 min and then totally shut down. The technicians tried repairing it twice but failed. The staff at the reception quickly took a decision to upgrade us to a duplex room and that was very good. Enjoyed the cycling and the spa very much. The break fast was good, but the dinner was not ok with limited options in a la carte. The ducks in the campus really added to the experience. The property is a little old and the furniture, beds, cushions etc needed some upgrades.

Overall it was a great experience. This is our second time visit and you can guess why. It's a very beautiful resort and very well maintained and the staff are soo friendly and the staff at the open restaurants and also at breakfast buffet are so kind in fulfilling the service we need , I can mention the name of few Tahir, Usha, Binodini and lot of others the old person who drops/picks up from/to room in the buggy was also so kind. I give a solid 100 for their staff and service. The ambience , their pool and spa are really mind blowing. We and especially kids had the great time.Also my 1 year old got the baby bed which was so comforting for all his sleeps. And the FOOD is so sumptuous we loved it , their breakfast gets a solid 100 again as there are a ton of options and they are really delicious 😋. Definitely want to visit again as we had the great time at the resort as a family.

The place is located on the out skirt of mysore. Just before you even enter the main city. There are two approaches, one which has industrial factories and that road is bad. The other entrance is good. Coming to the property, it's huge and amazing. There is a lot of greenery and walking space. For people with difficulty to walk there is buggy available 24/7 (at night it took a little time and that was only one instance where the buggy arrived late. There are couple of kids park to play and indoor games. The pool is huge and a kids pool with 1. 5 feet depth. There are restaurants inside the resort and the food is good. The staff are very very well behaved and helpful. Definitely a place to stay. The city is around 8kms from the place and would take around 18-20 mins to go.

Pleasant stay for our family. Very well maintained property, especially the facilities withing the property and the pool. Pros: * well designed rooms surrounding the lake and pool * decent indoor games room * pool was very good and well maintained with a basketball hoop and toddler/lid friendly pool area * duplex lake view was good that we stayed on * couple of dining options including an italian restaurant cons: * lot of tiny cockroaches inside the washrooms * simple things like hi tea were rushed and removed when most people were unable to come out of their rooms due to rain and staffs were rude to close it * food was expensive compared to the quality (its a slightly premium place, but we cannot pay more unless quality is equally good as well)

We stayed at the lake view cottage for 2 days. The room was very spacious and clean. The property is also clean and green with migratory birds coming to the garden. The breakfast buffet spread is limited in variety but satisfactory in taste. Can add more variety and taste can be still better. Complimentary high tea is a highlight. Staff is professional and eager to help. Property uses lot of plastic which is a huge disappointment. Bislery bottles can easily be replaced by simple filtered water in glass bottles - at least offer this option for the guests to opt. Same way shampoo can be kept in bathroom in fixed bottles instead of small sachets

Wonderful experience at silent shores, mysore! from the check in process at the reception to the help from the support staff, very cordial behaviour! the lake view rooms are pleasant, especially in the evening when the fountains are turned on. Breakfast buffet, don’t expect much in terms of a continental fare, however, the live counter for dos-as is amazing. High tea has the bare minimum with a few cookies and some freshly fried/baked snacks. For lunch and dinner we stuck to the a-la-carte menu at their in house restaurant, ambrosia, the food was made fresh and is priced on the average side ! the property on the whole is well maintained.

Firstly loved the hospitality and overall experience of the stay. Rooms are quite big and has all essential amenities. The complete resort is a blissful experience. There is a big lawn you can play in or just walk on the grass to relax. The pool was clean and huge. It has a beach shore side which makes the pool experience super good. We stayed in a classic room but would recommend pool view room if you have a bit higher budget. The breakfast buffet is good except the desserts. The lake is not that clean currently. Spa facilities are there with additional charges.

This was the best stay. We liked every bit of the service they provided. Cleanliness is taken care of. Food was good. They provided baby food for my 20 month old toddler and that was amazing. Breakfast was included in my package and buffet menu of breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended. I will visit again. Thanku

I have stayed here multiple times, always had a pleasant stay. The resort is quite big and situated in an industrial area, but its calm and not noisy. It is a bit out-of-city-center, but is a great place for chilling out. The food menu is quite expansive and all items are tasty. They have no issues if you order swiggy.

Perfect place to travel for a quick weekend getaway! the resort is spacious and lot of fun activities especially if you are traveling with kids. The swimming pool is amazing. Only complaint would be with the food which was just okay nothing great!

We were looking for a relaxing vacation and a property where our kid would enjoy. Silent shores is the best resort in mysore and has everything for kids and adults to enjoy. rooms are spacious, clean and with great views from the balcony. a must visit
