Silva Heritage - A 16th Century Goan House

We stayed at this property for one day as we wanted to spend a day in South Goa after spending 4-5 days in the north of Goa. Even before even we reached this property, we were stunned looking at the beautiful area around the Silva Heritage - A 16th Century Goan House with lush green lanes and quiet surroundings with hardly any activities related to tourists. You would feel like you're a Goan local when you stay in this part of South Goa. Upon entering the property we just kept looking at the beautiful walls decors and artefacts that they had displayed on the walls. We were also given a tour of the property by the manager Godwin, who took sincere effort and time to explain us all details relevant to the property including its history and Origins. He made us truly feel that we are living in a 4 centuries old house that has a place in Goan history. The rooms are of a sufficient size and even have a extra single bed in case you are traveling with kids. They have a large lawn which is maintained beautifully by the management. Even in the peak of summers, we felt like we are in the Garden enjoying spring time. The pool is of a sufficient size too. The restaurant is small but serves delicious food. Benaulim and Colva beaches can be reached within 10 minutes by car/bike. This Silva Heritage - A 16th Century Goan House is for people who want to enjoy some quiet time, beauty of south Goa, a heritage property and some solitude or uninterupted time with family. If you are looking for fun, this place might not be for you.

Silva heritage is a beautifully restored, 350-year-old portuguese-style villa that offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for vacations. We booked two rooms, both spacious and adorned with classic portuguese-style furniture and lighting, along with equally large bathrooms. We also had the chance to explore some of the unoccupied rooms, each uniquely and distinctively designed, with a name that adds to the villa's charm. The staff was very polite, and the food was excellent. Although our visit during the monsoon season limited our ability to enjoy the lawn and swimming pool, the live orchestra on saturday night brought a nostalgic vibe, making the restaurant lively and vibrant.

Property locatio was wonderful just like i wanted with complete serenity yet with the easy of all accessibility to food spots beach and shopping malls the food was very good the staff was very helpful esp pravin naresh and a lovely restaurant manager local. Goan gal rachel rooms were wonderful typical giving j the feel. Of a old goan home with modern amenities typical bathrooms lovely balcony only one thing was that for the bigger rooms they could have 2 ton acs that would cool better else rest of the place is just phenomenal completely made. Me nostalgic to my old goan home

We stayed at silva for 3 nights. The property is extremely amazing and very well maintained. The staff is courteous and helpful. The location is central by private transport (car/bike) but otherwise most good eateries are about 20-25 minutes walk. Their restaurant is good too and breakfast was also very good. All rooms are different from each other so if if it’s not fully booked you can ask them for options. Overall it was a great experience.

We liked the heritage property and it's location. Didn't get a chance to try their food but live music in the restaurant was nice too. They should perhaps standardise the checkout time to what every Silva Heritage - A 16th Century Goan House practice. And add a variety to their breakfast menu. Nevertheless, i've recommended the place to a few already.

The silva heritage is an above par property with excellent amenities and facilities. The room was exactly as seen in pictures and the hospitality was spot on. Special mentions about the food which is superlative & the spa. Beautiful location clubbed with the heritage property made our stay in goa a wonderful one. Highly recommended to all.

Location and everything was apt and they even provide bicycle so going to the beach is no biggie which is just 2 kms away
