Sinclairs Retreat Dooars

Lovely, serene and calming environs just suitable for the stress free weekend that you needed very badly. Well tended lawns with lovely bushes and trees, in other words a tropical paradise. Rooms though nice and clean enough shows the wear and tear of time, probably because of the rainy weather in this place. Please look into the prevent active maintenance of the place. Swimming pool is nice however, here again you'll see signs of wear and tear. Overall nice place, would visit again just for the peaceful ambiance of the place. Another thing noteworthy is that they have a very odd check in and check out time, 9 am which I thought was pretty odd. I think the management should look into this. Location is wonderful, food is just about alright and so is the service.

Without doubt one of the favorite Sinclairs Retreat Dooarss I stayed. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. I truly enjoyed walking. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Note, this is not a 4/5-star Sinclairs Retreat Dooars or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here, a true sample of excellent hospitality!

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this sprawling resort in chalsa ! the cottages were spacious and comes with a nice balcony. The maintenance of the resort was found wanting as we had to go two days without hot water due to a leak in the overhead hot water tank. Otherwise, the resort offers lots of space and greenary for one to relax and unwind for a few days. Breakfast was decent. The food options, of-course were not very good and clearly poor value for money.
We had a decent stay at this sprawlling resort and the covid-19 safety standards did not pose any big challenge. The rooms, dining area, common washrooms could have been better sanitised,

Excellent property within easy travelling distance from Siliguri, the nearest railhead or Airport. The service is diligent but unobtrusive. The food is pretty good with portions that are adequate although all the listings in the menu may not always be available plenty of choices, though. We stayed in the wooden cottage it's pretty secluded, quiet and comfortable although a mirror in the bathroom would be welcome and a tad better lighting. The staff are excellent. Overall, one the best places to relax over a couple of days.

Sprawling property, conveniently located near malbazar. The serene environment is ideal to unwind. Rooms and facilities are well maintained. All rooms are in cottages that are lawn facing. The deluxe rooms have no nonsense, minimalist designs, which work well although you may expect more aesthetics given the premium tariff. The food menu is upmarket, but in terms of price. However, the overall experience has been pleasantly memorable. The staff is competent and courteous, must say that.

We had three amazing days here with our five year old son. Room and bathroom were up to the mark. The resort contains vast green fields and lots of greenery Around. A nice place for kids to explore on their own. But above everything, what we loved best were the courteous staff and their hospitality. They were always ready to comply with all my small requests for my son and with a smile. I don't think we will ever think of another Sinclairs Retreat Dooars if we are back in Chalsa.

Sinclairs's pristine and natural beauty with gorgeous yet effort less landscaping makes us feel so peaceful. Love this place with old world charm. With all modern amenities. Staffs are extremely cordial and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Mr.Surajit Gupta, manager of this resort is omnipresent. He looks after the guests from the core of his heart. If you come here once, u feel like coming again and again.

The property is just beautiful. No big Sinclairs Retreat Dooars buildings. Just a wonderful spread out space of resort. The cottages are very well maintained, and recently renovated. The entire campus is full of trees, being spruced out every day. The lobby viewpoint is breathtaking. The food is nice, although it can be made better in services and variety. A significant number of sports are there along with other amenities.

Very good property and well maintained but the spa was not functioning. Kudos to the staff all were very friendly and courteous. Looking forward to visit again

Spacious, clean rooms. Expensive gardens, well maintained. Good food, great hospitality. Awesome swimming pool. Cozy library. Could've been better - more indoor activities like carrom, pool, tt, badminton court. Overall - 4. 5 out of 5

They maintain all COVID protocols with great & tasty foods with excellent behaviour to their guests.

Price was slightly high but excellent Sinclairs Retreat Dooars and excellent service are there. I would like to share one thing we noticed and getting problem that is, in every bathroom there was no single water tap. Which is very important. Our whole family faced problem for that.

The resort is spread out over a large area and is a nice place to unwind for a weekend. The property is quite old and it shows in the room fittings. A renovation would do the place wonders! the service is also pretty good.

Nice location and spacious property. Rooms are big enough, well maintained, clean. Satisfied with the amenities provided in the room as well as in the resort. Food quality is good, thanks to santu sen for providing customized service. Polite and efficient staff.
