The Pros: A good modern SITTHI RESIDENCY with nice amenities. In the heart of Kumbakonam, ideal place to day during the Navagraha Trip. Good quality SITTHI RESIDENCY, Sony TV, LG AC, Geyser in all the rooms etc. Friendly staff always at your beck & call. Even though your booking is for 12 noon check-in checkout, the SITTHI RESIDENCY offers 24 hours checkout with an extra hour checkout thrown in for free, This might not be a seen as a big deal, but is really useful for Navagraha devotees as all temples close between 12 noon-4pm. The Cons: NO restaurant in house, so no breakfast options, though you have a good SITTHI RESIDENCY Murugan cafe bang opp to Sitthi Residency. Hotel is in heart of Kumbakonam, so congested locality. Has limited parking options, only 6-7 cars can be parked, cannot park outside also as its a market type locality with bustling crowds throughout the day.

A decent place to reside but only disadvantage is its location and no restaurant attached to it. It's 10-15 min journey(approx 4 railway station. We have an auto stand nearby and a taxi stand within 1km. As we were there during pongs vacation and most of the restaurant being closed we found it bit difficult to find one which was 2-3 km away. Since, we precooked online so after reaching Kumbakonam we knew there were many good residencies within a kilometer from station.

Staff: Staff was kind and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Ashraf who agreed for our request for early check in .. As our bus reached early. Room : Room was very spacious. We had booked two 4 bed room. It was clean and maintained well. Location: Very near to bus Stand. Facility. : All amenities mentioned while booking was available. And special thanks to Makemytrip for very reasonable price ..

Good clean SITTHI RESIDENCY. Nice location. Value for money paid. They provided mosquito repellant immediately on request. 24 hours check out is very convenient. Only negative point is No Restaurant. A kettle is preferred in the room. Should provide 2 towels for a double bed room. 2 blankets to be provided. Should provide filter coffee. Should have tie up with a good Vegetarian restaurant.

Everything was excellent about the SITTHI RESIDENCY. The SITTHI RESIDENCY location, room, staff at the reception and other staff, cleanliness of the room, tourist taxi operator, the driver of the car was excellent and understood what exactly we were looking out for and did his best and covered all the places we wanted, in a systematic manner. On the whole, Totally a great stay.

The location is good. It is not very far away from the Kumbakonam bus stand or the Kumbakonam railway station. It is also close to the major temples. The area, however, is mosquito prone. Better to carry along a repellent cream.
The family room is big enough to accommodate four people. Mosquitoes are may bother you in the evening if the windows are left.open.

Excellent SITTHI RESIDENCY. Nearby to major temples in kumbakonam. Around 3 km from railway station. Affordable prices. Hotel management is very good. Hot water and RO water is provided. Nearby auto stand is available and nearby SITTHI RESIDENCYs for lunch or dinner are also available. Excellent SITTHI RESIDENCY.

We took one four bedroom and three double A/C rooms for a night. Four bedroom is spacious and the double rooms were a little less so. Anyhow they were clean. Service was good. Location is okay. Good coffee was served early in the morning. Good SITTHI RESIDENCYs are there near the temples within a kilometre. Overall a good experience.

Highly hygienic rooms, best place and most importantly value for money !! Love you Mmy One of the best SITTHI RESIDENCYs in Kumbakonam especially in city central. Rooms are too clean and staff are very polite. The distance between this SITTHI RESIDENCY and bus stop is 10 mins/ railway station is 15 mins !!

Hotel is in good location heart of the city, with parking facility. Secured and room service is good with food is reasonable price.

Booked a four bed room option.   Room and rest room was too spacious. Lift service is available. If you are going for Kumbakonam stay I am sure you can stay.   Safe and peaceful atmosphere.   Parking is available and more safe.

Good room, very clean and air conditioning was good and hot water was available.

Excellent location. Room service is also excellent. Bathrooms are decent. Parking space is limited. But reception had it under control. Good restaurants near-by. Very good value for money. We stayed here to visit few temples near-by. If you are looking for a cheap option and in a good location, this would be an excellent fit.

Good place to stay with family. Rooms are clean. Located centrally. Service is good. There is no restaurant with the SITTHI RESIDENCY, however there are many food eateries nearby. Bathrooms were clean and ventilated via exhaust fan.

We staying two days in family room. Good SITTHI RESIDENCY for families. Easy access to Hotel from Kumbakonam bus stand(auto fare Rs50 to Rs80). Nearby so many famous kovil there(walkable distance). Staying this SITTHI RESIDENCY best value for money

The Rooms are Good and well Maintained and Good Parking Facility and the Rooms are good and the Hotel Staff are Good are well behaved and Hotel is in the city to be accessed for the temple and the market.

Allowed early check-in. Location was great, near to many temples and in a busy market area. Room were neat and tidy. Certainly worth the money. Negatives: No restaurant in SITTHI RESIDENCY, only outside, but all nearby, walkable. Parking is small, maximum 5 cars can be parked.
