Smart Hill Kalatop

Situated right in the midst of forest area, Kalatop is a nature lover's den. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. Getting up in the morning reaches a whole new level of awesomeness at this place. The staff out there is extremely helpful, cordial and would go beyond their way to help their guests. We were running late and were on bike and mid-way ran out of fuel. Called the Smart Hill Kalatop guys and they came all the way to reach and pick us up from literally nowhere in the middle of the road. Not suitable for old people (maybe), assuming they might find it hard to walk from the gate to the stay which is around 10 minutes of walk. Apart from this one factor, I guess there is no con of this place.

The Smart Hill Kalatop was right inside Kalatop Sanctuary. We, who live in big cities, are not aware of what a silent night can be. The night was so silent, that at times, you can hear your own heartbeat. Another point I would also like to mention. That time you may feel sleepy, even sleeping normally. But over here, each time you wake up, you feel refreshed. Probably, because of less pollution and more oxygen level, than our big cities. Location is a bit difficult, as you need to trek for almost 300 meters from the car parking. Staffs are very nice and co-operative. But I would suggest everyone, give a go. It will be an experience to remember, and also good for your health.

Everything was good but food was little not upto the mark. Location was great scenery views were best. I would suggest improvement in food and the pavement way to approach the Smart Hill Kalatop. It's not good if u have elder or parents who can't climb rocks. The location is good for tracker the jungle is great fresh air clean environment. For young and adventure loving people it's heaven.

The final stretch of reaching the Smart Hill Kalatop from lakadh mandi to kala top via car was a nightmare. As the road condition was pathetic and very narrow road. Only experienced drivers should go there. Reaching the Smart Hill Kalatop from parking is also very difficult especially for elderly and with small kids. Rest the Smart Hill Kalatop and the staff was good.

This place is out of the City in forest area. It was a peaceful and serene place with some awesome view of mountains from the balcony. Food served here was nice too. Staffs were decent.

Nice staff, good food, safety excellent, location excellent and in whole Dalhousie, Khajiar's best place to visit is only Kalatop and the stay in this Smart Hill Kalatop was excellent.

Hotel is good staff good food is okay. Just to reach the Smart Hill Kalatop little difficult.

Food was superb but it is located in Kalatop forest area. The Road to Smart Hill Kalatop was little scary as we reached at night but its overall facilities were good
