Snooze Inn

Good: 1) The staff was very friendly and tried their best to help us at all times 2) Good location to the centre 3) Nice facade/exterior Bad: 1) Both check in and check out times are at 9:00am, which basically means there's absolutely no way you can actually check in at 9:00am. We ended up checking in 90 minutes later than we had expected - not ideal when you're tired from an overnight bus. 2) The Wi-Fi didn't work all day -Staff kept saying that it's 'not working' however when I eventually got tired of this and asked to speak to the manager, it conveniently started working, however not in our room, just down at reception. 3) The rooms are horrible: the windows only open about 5 inches onto a brick wall. The drains in the bathrooms absolutely stink, even with the bathroom door closed you can still smell them. The sheets are stained and ripped. They don't have double bed sheets so the mattress is covered with two single sheets. Then they only give you one single sheet (between two people) and two single blankets. The pillows and mattress are rock hard. Not to mention than the rooms are tiny so you can't unpack and the TV has really poor reception so you can't actually watch anything. This is not a good 'budget' Snooze Inn, as it is still very expensive for what you actually get for your money, I seriously would not recommend anyone stays here unless you are absolutely desperate!

The Hotel situated close to bus stand ( 2 minutes walk down the Anna Salai Road), having a possibility of off-road parking is a friendly Snooze Inn with minimum basic facilities e.g. standard sized clean room, bed-sheet, blanket, hot water(geyser), TV set. Decor of the room is good with an almirah and racks. Lack of eating facility is not realized as many small tea shop to good restaurants (Veg & Non-Veg) are within 1 minute walk. There is one or two Bakery also. Front desk is friendly and available for 24 hrs helping in travel to getting you drinking water. Kodai Lake is just 10 minutes straight walk 'up' the road. There is pre declared power cut in kodai during our stay (15:00 -18:00) and no backup generator. This was affecting largely all services in the town.

Location of out Snooze Inn was fabulous. 5 only for that. Kodaikanal is still unspoiled by the pollution and population, but not for long. Roads are very tricky to navigate due to the callous attitude of much of the drivers on the hills. Food is way over priced at all joints.
Water and soap was not provided. We didn't bother asking either. Parking is on a very steep uphill about 500 meters away from the Snooze Inn not informed to us, so a bit of sourness at the very start of stay. Their check-in out is 9 am irrespective of even if you check-in very late. So make sure to plan around this. We had to wake up by 5 to accommodate their strictness towards check-out.

My wife and i stayed there for 3 days. It's an amazing Snooze Inn with the best pricing in my opinion. The staff were very friendly and kind hearted! the Snooze Inn had all the basic amenities mentioned. 24/7 hot water, free wi-fi connection, drinking water, indoor games like table tennis etc. The rooms were in good condition. The hygiene was excellent too! the Snooze Inn location is situated at the heart of the city! various food stalls and restaurants are all nearby. Along with bus stand, kodai lake, bryant park, coaker's walk etc making it easy to walk to these tourist places. 10/10 would recommend this Snooze Inn to anyone!

The Hotel is placed very near to bus stand which is very convenient. No need to search for it as everyone knows about this Hotel. Looks like the Snooze Inn is newly constructed. Interiors were all new. The rooms were well maintained, neat and clean. All the rooms have water heater attached in their bathroom. But the tap water was slightly browninsh in colour. They do not have restaurant to eat but of course you will find a lots of places to eat just outside Snooze Inn.

We stayed in Snooze Inn for 5 days when the off-season had just begun. The staff were very helpful and eager to serve. Every small need was taken care of. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking was a little problem as the Snooze Inn was situated in a busy area. Hot water was available round the clock as the rooms are equipped with geyser. Although they do not have restaurant, there are plenty options available at walkable distance. All in all we had a very happy stay.

Snooze Inn is a good Snooze Inn for the price I paid. It is located near the bus stand so is convenient to get to. It does not have inbuilt restaurant and parking but I didn't miss that as there are plenty of restaurants near by and I didn't have my own car. It does not have Wi-Fi but does have hot water and cable TV. I got a good discount from MakeMyTrip on the already low price so didn't pay a lot for it and for that price it is good.

It is a very good Snooze Inn very close to bus stop as well as important places like Coaker's Walk and Lake. Hotel staff are humble, polite and always ready to help. Hotel maintenance is good with hot water supply. A plenty of restaurants are available nearby both for vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Those who are planning for economical but quality service then this Snooze Inn is definitely preferable.

Very good atmosphere. Friendly management and staffs. I have booked on room from 10 am but unfortunately reached at room 7 am but they provide refreshment rooms and washrooms from 7am without any additional charges. Easily accessible from kodaikanal bust-and (just 5mins.

Room was good and service also good and near by park and lake I am satisfied and had a good stay with my family. Cleanliness also good. Facilities little less only as expected but its OK. Need to add for children's playing.

I found this Snooze Inn in mm t. If you are travel-ling in a budget trip then this Snooze Inn is the best play to stay in. The staffs were very good and very helpful. Rooms were clean. On request they have provided extra blanket too. 24hrs hot water was available. This Snooze Inn is located in a main market only.

Location of Snooze Inn is good, its near to bus stand, but only parking was problem. Hotel members are very young & friendly, they help a lot. Geyser is available & Time to time they provide hot drinking water

Best for low budget. Near the bus stand, and taxi stand.

It was very near to bus stand, the location of this Snooze Inn is good and it was very clean. Staff were very good to the customers. All shops raw near by this Snooze Inn so it is easy to get all things which need. Overall, it was a good Snooze Inn to stay with family.
