SOKE HOMESTAY

The pictures don't do justice to the beautiful Hotel Himalaya Gamgtok has. We stayed at the room which was really spacious with majestic views. The place was extremely clean with Legsang and Kalsang helping us with all of our needs. The breakfast served was also amazing and our choices were asked the day before. They also have an a la cart menu to order from. One thing to note there was no water issue in the property which is a bit problem at other gangtok SOKE HOMESTAYs. The place is near to the main market but that is the beauty of it. And don't fret, they were kind enough to call any cab for you. All in all really enjoyed the stay here and would love to visit again ♥. Absolutely loved our time in place. Super clean and tidy. The host always enquired if we needed anything and was just a call away. Also the food was great. We had meals which tasted great. Absolutely worth it.

It was my first visit to Gangtok and after giving enough time to search for the SOKE HOMESTAYs, I ended up booking this beautiful SOKE HOMESTAY. First of all room has a spectular view and was neat and clean. Room heater and extra blanket where given in advance. Staff are very supportive and cordial. Owner Mr Bhutia is very friendly and will extend his support for all your needs. Coming to location it is quite far from MG road/central town. But you won't regret it, as taxis are always available for all the traveling needs. Only suggestion for the owner is to improve the food department,there are not many options and taste was not that great. Have a great stay. 😊

Rooms and cleanliness was good. Ambience of open space and room interior is great. They play a regional tune everyday which is soul soothing. Only thing which is not as expected is limited food options for breakfast buffet, no flexibility of early breakfast even bread jam which is required for tourists leaving early(even tea/coffee is not available fresh, u have to make it using powders. Would recommend only for stay without food

It was overall and awesome stay. Loved every minute here. It was isolated and beautiful. The best part was the service here. The staff is so co operative and just a call away. Food was okay here but you can order from zomato and swiggy and the SOKE HOMESTAY staff would serve you happily. I would love to visit here again. My experience at soke homestay was nothing short of exceptional

Location of the property is bit far but you can always book a cab. The view from the room is amazing and the rooms are clean. Need little improvement when it comes to food. Staff is very friendly and respectful they try their best to provide to whatever you need. If you want to stay in a quite and peaceful place you can consider this property.

Rooms are too good. Food is limited and available on demand. It was bit far from city but overall stay was excellent.

Everything was perfect! The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Perfect location! The owner was super friendly and helpful! We will come back for sure!

Property is new and very good, specially staff *budda* is very cooperative. Property owner is also good, he manage my vacation. Great to say their. Only problem is it is far from town.

Magnificent view from the window lane, lovely people at service and good location for a peaceful stay.
