Solang Valley Resort

The resort is beautiful. Divided into three properties, 2 overlooking the river and 1 entire wing overlooking the valley. The suite room which we had stayed in was beautiful with view of both river & Valley. It has a lovely jacuzzi :) abet it has a few insects crawling around. Not that anyone can help that being in the lap of nature. Advice :) don't pour bubbles :). The river view rooms do not have much of a river view left unfortunately due to construction, but in rainy seasons you can see and hear the roaring river below. Beautiful waterfalls, design, the surrounding mountains and apple trees bearing fruits, tease a pluck. The staff was quite nice and the manager quick to help and respond to our problems. WiFi is a mess :) but then again it was raining so I am not so sure if it was anyone's fault. Food was good, not extraordinary well prepared for a 5 star property but good. The resort doesn't quite meet luxury standards, but the location makes the thrill quite awesome. If you are looking at luxury with extraordinary comfort then you might want to rethink. But if a warm cozy place is what you have in mind, surrounded with beauty and company, then it might just be the Solang Valley Resort you want to book. Be assured to call the Solang Valley Resort once before you are booking to request the room facing river or valley, since due to seasons and other calamity reasons, they close parts of the Solang Valley Resort and pull back staff. As we had arrived in the rainy season, the river side rooms and properties were locked up for safety, since the river was flooded and rough. However, like I wrote... Property is nice.

It was an unforgettable experience while staying at Solang Valley Resorts. I stayed in this property in the 1st week of October. They have complimentary upgraded our room to Presidential Suite. We were offered full attention during our stay. This property is surrounded with immense beauty. Food was very delicious. We also enjoyed the private candle light dinner with live music they arranged for us also enjoyed folk dance, karaoke and spa. Staff was very professional especial F&B staff Mr. Thakur and event management staff Mr. Sonu . They were very polite. We enjoyed every moment what we spent in this this property, recommend others to stay in this beautiful property. Also big thanks to Mr. Arvind (General Manager) for his support and guidance to reach this place safe during the natural climate in manali.

Fantastic location if enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of the main 'touristy' area. You are surrounded by mountains on all sides. Hotel is beautiful, rooms are awesome, service is fantastic be prepared for long commute times if u have to go to the bazar. Traffic is nightmare in this summer vacation season. And can take up to couple of hours to go 10 kms. You have to time your commute so that you miss the traffic from the hordes of tourist going to rohtang in morning and the same swarm of tourist returning in the evening.

I opted for the presidential suite however was dejected to be allotted room no 120, which was at the ground level, please insist on the upper levels to enjoy the best view. Satisfied with the staff and the service. However have suggested to the management to have heaters at the restaurant as it is impossible to eat when the temperature is below freezing. It was - 11 the first night when i had dinner and opted for room service the next two nights since there is no heating at the restaurant.

It was a lovely location with a great view from our presidential suite. The staff personalised our stay with small small gestures of in food service and at candel light date with boon fire at river side. Suggested local food and prepared the same for dinner and breakfast, even if the preparation required one day's advance notice. The highlight of the room was glacier view with moonlight in the night. Would highly recommend couples and family to book and enjoy the place with great service.

I booked this resort for my rewedding shoot. I have started searching for locations from July and I booked Solang Valley resorts. Rooms are very clean and the view from the Solang valley from room was fabulous. Garden is very big and greenery is very good. Resort manger is very helpful he suggested us to take a best route to reach to resort because on NH road construction is on going.

We had a fantastic stay at the Solang Valley Resort.. As it is located near Solang Valley the view from your rooms would make you feel relaxed.. It's very scenic.. The food was very delicious and its best for the couples as they get the privacy they needed.. Overall it's a good place to stay apart from other resorts.. As it's far away from the rush and crowd.

Good Solang Valley Resort, but not great value for money. Well located, excellent view from room. Washrooms don't have bath tub surprising for a cold climate room, hot water is not available 24hrs, only comes for 3hrs in morning & 3hrs in evening - strange but true. Hotel staff are extremely courteous & friendly.

Hotel lived up to the review and its popularity. Stay was relaxing and comfortable. Locations and property is excellent. I drove to Delhi to this place, while reaching the property is an uphill take, but it is surly worth the effort.

We were on our Road trip to Himachal, and in our whole trip our stay at Solang Valley Resort was very memorable. The staff is very humble and helpful. There were many activities all round the clock. It was a fun staying there.

Solang Valley resort is only resort on Solang Valley .. Has both river side rooms and valley side rooms .. There are lot of good facilities like Video games, TT table, foos ball table etc .. Food is good .. Rooms are average.

Location is like a heaven, food quality and service is excellent. And a big thank to the resort manager he's such a nice person. I'll give 5 stars.

Very good hospitality and nice karaoke sessions also the location of the Solang Valley Resort is very close to Solang Valley which is very beautiful.. I would recommend this Solang Valley Resort to all.. Their breakfast is too good and has all the options...

Location is perfect. As the resort is closer to solang valley, we didn’t get stuck in traffic and we’re one of the first to reach solang and subsequently to atal tunnel. The food was ok at the resort, staff was very helpful and made us comfortable.
