Sornalaxmi Residency

Sornalakshmi's stay in pondicherry was a serene escape. Nestled by the bay of bengal, the quaint town offered her a blend of french colonial charm and vibrant indian culture. She explored the cobblestone streets of white town, adorned with colorful bougainvillea and historic architecture. Sornalakshmi savored local delicacies at seaside cafes, immersing herself in the relaxed ambiance. The aurobindo ashram became a haven for introspection, while the auroville matrimandir's golden glow left a lasting impression. From sunrise strolls along promenade beach to moonlit reflections in the auroville lake, pondicherry etched timeless memories in sornalakshmi's heart.

Even though the neighbourhood of the Sornalaxmi Residency is not so good, its location with respect to visiting places of interest is good. It is pretty close to the places worth visiting- manakula vinayaka mandir, sri aurobindo ashram, beach, panchamukha sri jayamurthi anjaneya mandir, etc. They have only one 4-wheeler parking space. They do not have any food or any other amenities. They provide a single water bottle, hot water kettle, mosquito repellent, tea bags, cups & saucer, tv, good soap. Room was good and clean but the floor of our room was not clean. Bathroom was clean.

To start with, i absolutely loved the property. It's a budget property and is very near to all the major points in pondi. The Sornalaxmi Residency staffs are incredible. They are always there to help within minutes, irrespective of the time. Also, this Sornalaxmi Residency has great connectivity. The only point that bothered me here and i would suggest the Sornalaxmi Residency to make some arrangements, is for car parking. Parking the car in front of the gate is not a solution, because if there are more guests, you will not find a spot for your car. Otherwise it's all good.

Stayed for two nights while in Puducherry. Pros - Spacious room How water Courteous staff and manager Newer place with good interior. Hot water for 24 hours Good terrace with benches on top floor. MG road with many food options nearby Cons - Only three parking spaces so one has to secure their spot early. Off the main road for about 400 m, Gotta put one's precision driving to test manoevring thru narrow streets and dealing with crazy Pondi two wheeler riders. LoL Overall, a really good and neat place for a budget traveller.

We had booked family room of 2 beds and bathroom for 4 people, very well maintained rooms and bathroom 2 acs to beat the heat, amazing and very supportive staff mr. Sabri helped us to keep our bags when we reached too early and helped with what to visit and when, we rented scooty from here acceptable rates and good maintained scooty had no major problems. Amazing staff and a great stay must recommend for friends and family, location of the Sornalaxmi Residency is close to white town all tourist places are near by.

Sornalaxmi residency: decent stay this Sornalaxmi Residency offers decent stay for family. They have limited parking spaces, otherwise parking can be on the nearby road. Entry to this place is a bit cumbersome. Through narrow road Sornalaxmi Residency rooms are decent, and well maintained comparing to other expensive Sornalaxmi Residencys around, thkius value for money Sornalaxmi Residency good and responsive staff. They help as much as possible with their limited offerings.

i had one of my best stay in sorna lakshmi residency and the rooms were spacious,neat and clean and it was totally like i imagined the stay was awesome and the staff were kind and helpful and highly recommend anyone travelling pondicherry to stay here 💯👍🏻😊. it was awesome and fantastic and i will stay there whenever i visit pondicherry hereafter.thanks to sorna laxmi residency and their staffs also special thanks for make my trip for this awesome stay experience.

stay was very pleasant and peaceful.No disturbances.Hot water available 24×7.Room was very neat and clean.We can order food from outside.No restaurants inside the Sornalaxmi Residency.check in and check out procedure was very fast.reception person was very polite.kettle available for hot water.They are providing materials for instant coffee and tea.Also providing complimentary water bottle 1litre per day.overall stay was excellent 👍👍👍

Although the residency is inside a gali but nearer to many places. Room are well cleaned and staff is really good. The value it provide in such small amount is incredible.

Property is good. Little in the interior. For restaurants you will have to walk 1 km. Room service is good. Swiggy comes faster.

Had a comfortable stay of two days. Breakfast was good (they have combo breakfast ordered from outside.

They have one kitchen for emergency, they could have maintained in better condition to use it, hope they can improve it otherwise room was clean and other facilities were good

Best room ever, also all the the tourist points and public transport are nearby, you will also get good breakfast

The room was clean and proximity to rock beach and other tourist spot are near.

It was a homely place. The room was quite okay, and the staff were helpful.

I must say staffs are super nice. They allowed early check-in that was the best part. But yes for early check-in room availability should be there. I also got early check in after 1 hr at 9:30am as room was unavailable that time. Near to every roaming location. Hotel service was very good. Ideal for couples and families. Good ambience, well mainyained. Tea, coffee, milk powder packets available. Even scooty for rent available at the same Sornalaxmi Residency, thus we can return at same. Lift, water, wifi, ac, hot water all are available. Worth for money. Hotel outside locality is normal. But Sornalaxmi Residency within is good. Even plug in kettle is available

Staff is extremely helpful and rooms also very neat and tidy. Spacious rooms with 24*7 hot water facility. Also it’s not so noisy outside. Only drawback is locality where in if you have car it’s very small lanes where only 1 car can pass.
