Southern Residency

Absolutely enjoyed stay here for a week, the staff and everyone here are very polite and ready to help you with anything that you need. They give you this friendly/home vibe so i really liked that, there are a lot of things there within walkable distance and zomato or swiggy has no issues delivering there so that's something. One thing i would suggest is to have cupboards with lock or provide locks for the inside rooms as well. I mean it's not an issue but having a place to keep your important items locked gives you a peace of mind since there's only one key provided and that's the main door key. Everything else here is really good, i enjoyed the view and vibe from windows and the balcony as well, the balcony is very relaxing and nice to chill on!

Stay was good. Only few things that im not satisfied with. 1) remotes were not working. 2) landline phone was not working. Apart from that i started noticing sounds at night. Idknw if its haunted. In morng it is silent i cant hear any nearby room sounds but somehow i wake-up in middle of night hear sounds like somebody trying to open my door and flushing from inside bathroom. I have no idea. Im hearing this from my second day till i vacated basically 4 nights. Can be nearby rooms but why just night? why not in day time? if its not from rooms i think room no 105 is haunted. Apart from that i had a pleasant stay.

The Southern Residency was excellent, staff courteous, neat ambience, fully functional AC, large comfy bed, TV etc. Hotel situated near to Ernakulam Junction Rly Station or Ernakulam South, near to Cochin metro station, bazaar etc. The Southern Residency does not offer restaurant facilities, which is ably compensated by a variety of eateries such as Arya Bhawan, etc.👍👏

Decent property. Location is good. Good for quick stay and near by mg road. Can improve breakfast quality

Hotel room quality and staff are good. Only fooding option is not available. But still it's ok.

Stayed with my family. Well maintained room. Room service is also good. Walkable distance from south metro station.

Hotel is situated near to ernakulam junction railway station. Room and washroom were neat and smells good. Small balcony also provided. Staff members are polite and helpful. Worth for money paid.
