Southern Star Davangere

It is not value enough for the money they charge. Food is insipid. Towels are not clean. The only saving grace is well behaved staff

The property doesn't meet the expectations it boasts of. it needs overall improvement in all departments to compete to be the best hotel. I may think twice before booking the room in this property

Stay was good. Rooms were neat and clean. The restaurant was decent and food was tastier. They did call me and checked on the arrival time and accommodated my late checkin

Nice property, spacious room, very helpful staff, good food, location of hotel is in middle of town which helps, still peaceful as property is big. The best thing staff is thoughtful, from calling a day ahead asking if we need queen or King size bed to asking if we need the car cleaned, that extra effort in attending to guest made the stay very pleasant.

Good facilities, neat and clean rooms, and a complimentary buffet breakfast with nice options starting at 7:30 am. . Enough parking space. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay . Must Mention clearly snacks kept in the room are chargeable.

The stay was comfortable, spacious room and balcony. The service in the restaurant is slow but the quality and taste is good.

Stay was superbbbbbb. Room was classic. Not much share about any active places. But spacious outdoor as well. Food was Good but expected great.

We are staying every year here from past 4 years, Quality has been decreased. Bathrooms were not that clean and towels need replacement. Bed spread was also looking bit old.

Good hotel and amenities interaction with customers was poor from staff

Just to mention that Davanagere city has many premium accommodations, but tariff at southern star is double of all other accommodations with same quality and service...I really recommend reduction in tariff by at 40%to50% would make it excellent.

The electrical wiring in the rooms need to be checked/ audited. Power gets interrupted too frequently. staff needs training. Supervision seems to be lacking.
