Span Resort and Spa

Stayed for a day. Plus points are that the resort is located in a dream like place just beside beas river. My cottage was river facing which made my day. The premises is tranquil, serene and full of beautiful picturesque. Perfect for people looking for relaxation and peace from hustle bustle of city life. The staff is very hospitable which again is worth acknowledging and I would give 5/5 to them. Quick services and response to each and every request. Food is again perfect to taste. Best food I ever had and certainly the best in Manali. But overall it's very expensive. WiFi was chargeable, other sports were chargeable. The pool was not clean. If a person is paying 19k I think he/she deserves these facilities without any charge. Even the packed food kept in room is 120 times the price of original packet. Cottage comprise of single room. Dvd player was available but movie collection was 6 years old. They are charging simply on the location of property. Himalayan resort on the other hand was better money wise. Had stayed for 2 days and the rent for 2 days was less than a single day at span. Himalayan cottage was 2 storeyed with 2 bedroom & a private garden with apple orchards... Pool plus valley view... Plus all the amenities for free. Span on the other hand had small cottage but a big jungle cum garden for walk and relaxation. Overall expensive. They must work on providing WiFi and some other facilities for free.

This is an old property, built on the banks of the great and feisty River Beas. Perhaps, the best thing about this resort, is only this great river view. Rooms are pretty average, considering the truck loads of money they charge you for it. There are quite a lot of recreational facilities available, however very few are actually functional. The Dart board has so many holes in it, that your dart will pass right through it. There is no functional archery, and no body told us anything about fishing. Their staff acts a bit high handed, as if they are doing us a favour! My advice, please go and check out how the "real" great resorts work!

If you like to travel and stay at luxury to have an everlasting experience - span is the answer for manali. It is located on the highway and hence saves time. The Span Resort and Spa has all nature highlights at one place itself river mountain garden snow capped mountains view. The Span Resort and Spa staff was courteous and humble. Food is fine. The rooms are very spacious ant has great view from balcony. Its a must resort. The Span Resort and Spa staff also organised boon fire in winters which is very soothing & calming with clear skies and river murmurs in background

The finest resorts in Manali. People there are cordial and helpful. The very well built and maintained property, right on the banks of River Beas. The Cottages are cozy yet sufficient for two people. We preferred an Elite Cottage, and later found the extra money paid worth it. The Mountains, trees and the river right in front of you. The resort is little bit expensive but for a place like Manali where you go to enjoy coziness and want to get away from the day to day hassle of life, it is worth it.

The resort is very well maintained And with a host of activities for kids. We spent a lot of time soaking in the views of the mountains And the Beas flowing right next to the resort gardens. Also the food was always fresh And made as per our requirements simple And satisfying. Highly recommended for families with kids who love to play as there is something for everyone.

The resort is located right on the banks of Beas River. Hotel has every possible amenities that is required from a resort. Open spaces to play, lots of games, good gym And Spa, lots of space to walk Around. However, the rooms And bathrooms are quite small. Also, the rooms could have been better lit. There is a lot of scope for improvement of food taste.

Rooms were good, staff was ready to serve with smile but I want to mention one point that they should provide VALET PARKING for guest's convinience . . One more thing the attitude of front desk manager (forgot his name) was very rude towards us .. Otherwise it was a nice stay at Span with little inconvenience (absence of valet parking) ..

One of the best properties I have ever stayed at. The architecture of the property is beautiful and unique, with a lot of character. Outstanding staff. The location is very close to beas river having its private sitting area near the river. We did not dine at the Span Resort and Spa, but they are supposed to have top notch restaurant

Best one if you would like to stay, relax and revive yourself. Love the way when every morning manager come to take update of stay. I dont need to go anywhere to see natural beauty. Span gives all type of natural beauty.

We had an excellent span resort

The resort is at the bank of the river Beas, it was a beautiful experience, rooms were simply awesome, service was good too but they just wouldn’t give any upgrade even when the rooms were available so the staff is Rigid. Also the buffet is not at all as per the 5 star. But the location of the Span Resort and Spa is awesome

Span resort is the most excquisite Span Resort and Spa in manali. The warmth it gives is out of the world experience. The view is spectacular and breathtaking. Food and drinks are delicious and we enjoyed our stay

Best food and hygiene and friendly staff

Location is good n away from usual crowd, yet about 20 mins drive to the mall road & city centre. Food & service was amazing. With well kept lawns & lush green river side

Always great to stay here. Sad to see some part destroyed by flood but I am sure they will be back soon with same beauty as earlier.

Best place to stay in Manali, near river bed and garden view. Hotel will provide lots of fun activities, including fishing, couple friendly. Mr. Manoj CEO of the Span Resort and Spa, will personally greets visitors. Guest friendly and very co-operative. Worth staying. You will never regrets.

Swimming pool was dirty, sauna steam was out of order and pool table was chargeable after 8 pm. I didn't understand why, food was good, rooms were clean and the best part was the location with the river.
