Spice Jungle Resorts

The Spice Jungle Resorts is placed in the laps of the hills hidden inside a small forest which makes the stay the most beautiful. Waking up to birds chirping outside your window and balcony gives an experience of a lifetime. There are elaichi and other spices planted around which gives the Spice Jungle Resorts it's name. It's downhill 500 metres from the road for which the Spice Jungle Resorts provides a jeep anytime you want to travel up or down. The staff - everyone is extremely polite. They're helpful and at your service 24x7. You can have a chit chat with them about the place and accordingly plan your journey. A nice guy named nishad manages the Spice Jungle Resorts quite well and a staff named saravanan made our stay delightful. The complimentary breakfast could have more variety considering the amount they charge for it. Taste wise, it is okay. Tea is sometimes good. It's a buffet but not with much choice. The items on the menu for lunch and dinner taste good, not great. It's more simple. But with travel-ling point of view, it's better. We had booked a super deluxe room, which has better view and is bigger. There's a balcony where you can sit and gaze into the forest. The best part is that, all this fits into your budget. Food is quite expensive but the stay is well budgeted. Brownie points for that. We booked this Spice Jungle Resorts after looking for many. We were satisfied. 8. 5/10

Was a but concerned about the way to resort as many of the people were reviewing it as a very dangerous steep road. I was driving a polo and it went through the road like a piece of cake. Not recommended for big vehicles though. And the location shown in google map is accurate. Coming to the stay experience, the staff were so polite and friendly. We called the booking number when we got late to check in. As it was nearly 10. 30 pm, we were a but concerned when a narrow road was shown in google maps. We called the guy handling calls in each and every turn and he attended the calls. He also called us back when a call was missed. A guy showed us to our room and they also called and reminded when breakfast was ready. When we did not show up, they called again after some time and reminded that the breakfast will be available till 9. 30 am. As we were running late on our schedule, we skipped breakfast and informed them that we’ll have it from an outside restaurant. So we didn’t get to experience the taste of food there. The room provided was very clean and well maintained. Only one towel was provided for 2 occupants. But thats okay. And i had a look at their menu. Its not so expensive for a resort like many of the people review here. Cheers to the whole team. Perfect place for couples.

Spice jungle resort is an excellent location if you want to stay away from the crowd and enjoy the nature. Take a premium room and you can feel the whole jungle around you. There is even a stream of water passing just beside this resort and you can hear that sound clearly. I have stayed in this resort for 2 days and i it has been a wonderful stay. Rooms are big and clean. Bathrooms are maintained well. Restaurant food is decent. Make sure you take the room with breakfast option. The road to this resort has a steep down. So, if you are driving and need any assistance, you can call the resort. They have a jeep and will help you with moving. I was travel-ling on my own and am not a very experienced driver. So, have asked help from the resort and the owner jishnu has been very helpful. They even have a jungle trekking which will lead you to a waterfall (not exposed to the public. You need to inform jishnu one day in advance and he will arr-age for this trekking (has to be done early in the morning around 6:00 am. Overall, i would rate this a excellent resort to relax and connect with nature. The small swimming pool in the resort is a bonus. My son enjoyed it a lot.

We stayed at jungle nature resort for 1 day, check-in/check-out time is 12pm/11am. They do provide jeep pickup and drop from main road to resort reception as it is a bit off road and towards downside of the mountain, a bit difficult to come down from personal vehicle. Room is non-ac but descent view from balcony, you’ll get chance to see exotic birds and cardamom plants everywhere. Morning view is good from balcony where you can hear chirping of birds. Toilet should be more organised and clean here i was little disappointed. They have a pool around 4’6” feet depth we went during evening 5:30 pm water was freaking chilled and difficult to stay in water for long the water looks little muddy though, you can ask for pool towel, they do provide bone fire option but we didn’t get as they mentioned woods are went due to rain, food is okay not very good breakfast menu is limited, they have to provide more options.

We had an amazing experience in spice jungle resort. This resort is present in the mid of forest. We have booked super deluxe room with balcony and big window to view the jungle. It was so nice to view jungle inside from our room. They have sent jeep for every pick and drop from bus stop. Rooms, and toilets were neat and tidy. And staff are kind and gentle. Swimming pool is additional beauty for the whole resort which is also present in the corner of jungle. We enjoyed a lot in camp fire with good music and dance. We had lots of fun. I would strongly recommend this resort if anybody is willing to come to visit munnar in vacation.

Hotel located in an awesome location. The road to the resort is a little bit difficult but they provide jeep service and drivers to pick the car. We have booked a deluxe room. Room was good but the bed was small and had bed bugs in it. That was the only issue we faced at that resort. The resort staff were friendly. Complementary breakfast was good. Night they are provided campfire and music totally it was a wonderful experience except the room beds if they improve it definitely will be a great place to enjoy with friends and family.

The Spice Jungle Resorts stay was very good. Staff was sincere and polite. Swimming pool was also clean. Room was also clean. There were some issues like our door lock was not working properly but staff was very attentive and cooperative and helped us fully. The Spice Jungle Resorts was approx. 500 metre downside the main road but they have well arranged pick up and drop with their jeep (available every time. Overall it was a beautiful experience and a must visit.

Good location to enjoy nature. I have booked 2 super deluxe and one deluxe room. Deluxe room was not that great, it does not have balcony, not recommended. Super deluxe rooms are good, you can watch birds and wild squirrels from your balcony. Pool was clean. The road to the resort is very steep and tricky. They are providing jeep service if required. Food is good but little bit costly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Place is good for family as well.

Location was good, but there was no sign board directing towards resort is not there, for a people who is coming for the first time it will be difficult to identify the property.

Very clean room, clean pool, clean garden. But i didn't like the food as it was cold and masala papad was not at all crispy enough.

It is a very nice place. Hospitality at the Spice Jungle Resorts is really good. Location is perfect for Jungle lovers. Food is tasty too. Overall good experience.

Good to compare other resorts

Nice location and good facilities provided. Surrounded views are awesome. Hotel provided us pickup and drop services to nearby bus stop as free of cost. Excellent service by staff. Lot of insects problem inside and outside room.

We 14 members stayed here last week. It is amazing and a wonderful experience with great views in the jungle. The complementary food are really superb. The employees are very friendly and treat us their guests and helped a lot. Jeep travel to the resort is a wonderful experience.

Wonderful stay. Restaurant service is not so good... They take lot of time to prepare food.. Location is awesome.. Rooms are too good... Room services are also very good... They also provide pick and drop facility, nearby bus stop.. Overall it is a wonderful place to stay.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this Spice Jungle Resorts for anyone. 🥰
