very nice place, clean room, amenities are good, nice breakfast and dinner, staffs are very nice and humble, outstanding hospitality really enjoyed the stay.

I had a disappointing experience at Spiceslap Resort. The bathrooms were not well-maintained, and parts of the room were dusty. After arriving, there was a delay in getting our room ready — the staff asked us to have dinner while they prepared it. I assumed the dinner was complimentary due to the inconvenience, but we were charged ₹1,155 for it, which was quite unexpected. On top of that, the room we got was not worth— it lacked cleanliness and comfort. We could also hear knocking and noises from adjacent rooms, which made it hard to relax. I expected a peaceful and pleasant stay, but unfortunately, it was far from that.

Our family stayed at Spices Lap Resort in April 2025. It is a nice and comfortable resort well managed by the proactive and friendly staff. It is a serene place to stay and easy to locate along Thekkady-Munnar route. It is both family and couple friendly. It has a restaurant which serves very tasty food. The buffet was wholesome, tasty and well prepared. It has got a good swimming pool and small play area for kids. They also set up complementary bonfire on demand.

The location of the hotel was good, but it was a bit far. The room was large in size. The breakfast was satisfying. The swimming pool was clean. The service provided by the staff was friendly.

Excellent locations, food and facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful 🙂 Highly recommend this place for family.

Our stay amid-st nature in garden villa was amazing and the food was good with excellent service. The scenic location and the topology of the resort is awesome.

Food was not good. The tawa fried fish served was very bad and had to return it. Chill i gobi was very ordinary. Even the chocolate ice cream served had a bad taste to it and we didn’t have it. It was very difficult to bolt the door.

Lovely cottages with spacious rooms and excellent facilities. Breakfast could be better. Serene and quiet surroundings

The location was great easy to find on google maps. We stayed in the garden view room. Rooms are huge and spacious so was the bathroom. There was bit of mosquito activity at night inside the room but otherwise it was a good stay. The restaurant and food was just average.

Good property, clean cottages. A baby cradle was provided in the dining area. Good staff. Good food considering the fluffy chapatis and muttar paneer.
