SRM Hotel

hotel ambience is good. rooms are very spacious and clean. breakfast was tasty and sumptuous. walk from reception to lift is quite long for senior citizens. Bell boy service is very poor. There was no hot water in the bathrooms.

Cleanliness is good. Service is good. Service in Padmam restaurant is not up to the mark.

Overall, though the hotel as a whole is impressive (would give it 5 star) but the service provided by the front desk led to 3 stars. Rudeness is an understatement. One did not have the basic courtesy during the process of Check-in. It felt as if he was judging us and talking accordingly. Our luggage was kept in the lobby as we were told it will be brought to our Room 1203, even after 20 mins it remained by the front desk itself which we took it by ourselves rather than depending. Rest of the staffs from the house keeping, security and even at the buffet were kind and caring. As for the room it was satisfactory. It is better to book it from MMT or any other hotel booking websites due to the insane amount they take. Bathroom is neat. Rooms Excellent rooms for a 3 Star Hotel, seemed like 4 star with all the cleanliness. Must say the bathroom was clean with no foul smell. All basic toilet amenities were provided like dental kit, hair drier, shaving set, shampoo and conditioner. TV and AC are in working condition. Also house keeping was done. Only drawback, I found was the spiders my mother found in the Bathroom wash basin. Safety: One thing which disturbed me was how Two Men were at my door basically banging and trying to check in (assuming they were guided to the wrong room by the reception or by mistake) when my parents were out. Walkability: SRM college is within 50m. Food and drinks: We had Breakfast included for both days which was pretty good. Hotel highlights: Luxury, Quiet

Overall experience was good, only problem is restaurant where they do not serve a la carte. In bar they do not serve food.

Everything was excellent, good food and spacious rooms, only issue was with the WiFi connection. Overall stay was comfortable.

I stayed only gor one day ,room is ok but for tea/coffee n chips n kajus almond pkd s are there accordingly some of item are consumed by me but at time of checkout receptions demand rs 700.00 accordingly I paid .foods bill are already paid.this was supposed to mention before check in room.any way i hope In future it will not happen.

Excellent stay at SRM HOTEL. It's service, room, cleanliness, behavior of every staff all are very good, actually not good but excellent.

Despite the extremely high pricing, the overall service at SRM Hotel is utterly disappointing. The room service menu is practically useless, as most of the listed items are never available, and the standard excuse is that the restaurant is “closed” even during daytime hours. This leaves no choice but to rely on Zomato for food orders and each time, guests are forced to step outside the hotel to collect them, which completely defeats the purpose of staying in a premium facility. Breakfast is no better. The spread lacks variety, offering the same repetitive items every single day, with no effort to refresh the menu or provide a better dining experience. During my four-night stay in September 2025, I found the services consistently substandard, with no signs of improvement. Considering the steep tariff charged, the experience is far from satisfactory. The property fails to justify its cost and offers neither comfort nor convenience, making it overall a poor value for money.

Overall, a complete disappointment. Staff are untrained, food service is unavailable even on request, and multiple calls are needed just to get basic assistance., with Zomato being the only option for food.

As always, well maintained and uptown hotel in that area, super clean n spacious room, good restaurant with decent food taste, room service can be little quicker, but otherwise very preferable place to stay near SRM university, i was pleasantly surprised by having a EV charger for car, was very handy utilisation for charging my car.

Only advantage is the location for people visiting SRM College. Very courteous staff but I failed to understand why they lack in giving prompt and professional service. Very poor response to house keeping, room service and other allied services. Only shining stars are Mr. Ramesh at the Reception whom we met on his night duty and their Head Chef, his name is also Mr. Ramesh. Don’t expect a professional hotel like services here. Wifi didn’t work during our entire stay of 06 days. TV worked only for 02 days only. No one will attend your these problems.

The rooms were good but hotel deliberately gave smaller rooms in higher price. Corner rooms are smallest.
