SS Silver Oaks Resort

Cold place especially at night. If you don't expect a lot of amenities like swimming pool, spa, gym etc and only looking for a descent neat stay, this is one of the best one. Staff is good. Small camp fire most of the days, small kids play area near car parking, less traffic roads, natural scenery around atleast for now as many buildings are not nearby. Complementary breakfast is only idly, dosa, vada, sambar, chutney, coffee, tea. It would have been good to add some more small varieties like breadbutter-jam, conflakes, juice etc for kids. Other things can be ordered if you want but need to pay. Room service is also there. We stayed in delux room with closed balcony (room with windows. Open balcony is also available. 15k private villa with balcony also available, it may be more spacious. Indore games only carrom there now in a meeting hall. Might be added more indore games later as space is there in the hall. Bathroom is neat and spacious. Good storage type geyser is available which can be switched on at any time at our comfort. If water is reduced in the tap, it comes back immediately or after just informing reception. Car parking is available but if all rooms are filled, then may have to park outside, but there is no issues as the front road is not the main road. Overall it is good.

The resort was well maintained and had clean rooms. The staff were very helpful and on asking they arranged cabs which was reasonable price compared to booking if we do directly, plus guides us which all places are good to visit. This resort is little away from the main location where yercaud lake, park, all eating restaurants, etc. Are all together and also view points. At the resort in the bathroom the commode was leaking when we flush water it leaks a little on the bathroom floor. On request they applied some white cement but still it was leaking a little compared to earlier. They won't keep bathroom kits and provide only on demand as some guests don't use it and it goes waste so. I'm a pure vegetarian and the resort restaurant food for lunch which we ordered after check-in was not tasty and also they didn't provide any tandoori items like naan or roti and when asked they say we don't have many guests staying so we are not using tandoori and we had to compromise with phulka. This is one of the worst excuses i heard and spoiled the mood. So, we arranged our dinner and lunch outside where we have a couple of good restaurants. Only breakfast at the resort was good in taste.

Pros - Property is at good Location, Good Ambience, Good food and taste The ambience was nice, free WIFI is available in rooms and room service was also good. Parking lot is available. The SS Silver Oaks Resort is in very good and quiet environment, Location was good. Easy to commute for nearby places, in bike/car 10 - 15 mins to commute. Walkable will not suggest. Dont know about public transportation. They have a attached restaurant, we dont want to search for food outside, reasonable price and quantity with good taste. Complimentary breakfast is also Good (Idly, Dosa, upma/pongal, vadai/bonda) Cons - Overprice rooms I went to this place on Jan'23. I booked 'Deluxe Room with Balcony' room type which i felt was overpriced as compare to other SS Silver Oaks Resorts. At max the room should be priced between range non-AC with breakfast. Balcony they say is not a balcony. It's kind of a small wall built inside the room (Balcony is closed with window) The rooms were small then expected and I felt the price was a bit high for the room. No Swimming pool.

We had car, so it ll take 3 to 5 min only to reach lake from SS Silver Oaks Resort, which is the centre point of yercaud. Spicy restaurant present at this SS Silver Oaks Resort, for breakfast they provide buffet, not all items are tasty, its okay only. Also for lunch food is okay only, not much tasty, also they will take more time to serve the food, which we didn't like. Hotel service is good, they did all the request which we asked. No problem in service. Overall i would give 3. 5.

Location: just 3-5 mins drive from yercaud city amid-st nature. Room: room was nice and spacious. Deluxe rooms also has a balcony. Parking: they have good parking to park about 10 cars. Foood: all the foods served in restaurant were very tasty. We liked the tawa fish fry very much. Hotel staffs are very helpful. Special thanks to alexander for his kind approach towards the guests. Its 100 % safe & secure for the guest & children. I think this SS Silver Oaks Resort took over by a new person renovate into good & excellent interior as well as bathroom cleanliness good management with professional handled, nice staffs well respected. A worthy stay for 2k. But a huge disappointment in breakfast not even a average food what they served. But for the dinner what we ordered its good & hygiene.

Located around 2. 5 km from main lake. Staff attitude is good. Food quality and taste are good. Rooms are maintained very neat. I booked deluxe room and they gave room 101 which is very near to reception and feel little bit disturbance from reception phone call and conversation. Better to get rooms at first floor. Deluxe room mentioned that with balcony but actually it was not look like balcony.

Positive is that it was a good stay only in view of location, food, cleanliness and behavior of staff and services provided. Negatives are basic amenities required for a room are not provided unless asked. Parking space provided is very congested. Room heater was not functioning when required. Overall it was a good experience but taking into account the negatives it may not be worth the price.

The ambience and maintenance of the resort is good and food is good

Resort is well placed in calm and cool place. Breakfast was very good. Over all pleasant stay. Rooms are spacious and clean.

We stay for 2 nights we enjoyed lot And staff are very friendly specially Mr Alex Fo Manager become family friend and also Mr Ram and Mr vinoth. Keep it up. One Again Thanks a lot👌

It was really a wonderful experience, staffs were superb friendly. The accommodation was so good that we were enjoying each ans every moment spend there. Food tasted so good that we feel homely and also made a great taste of restaurant.
