Star Desert Camp

it was a very nice experience overall...see...if you are coming to jaisalmer, usually food is not that great...but i must say...that star desert staff gave their 200% to give an amazing dinner treat to all the guests at new year eve ..they served proper salad,amazing dal bhati with ghee, kaju curry, matar paneer, kair sangari and 3 amazing desserts...so the food was the strongest point,,, secondly the bed and tent was very comforting and warm ,,,blankets were effective and soft,,hot water supply was also there ,,,because it's often a big issue in resorts of jaisalmer...overall..if you are agile enough and active in enjoying...you are at the right place ..staff is extremely courteous and helpful...they are genuine people,,,there is a lot of good things to say...but for a nice decent stay at an affordable price,,u shud go for it...my only suggestion will be that dj must play some good bollywood songs also .🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. few other things i can say are that one should reach dunes by 4 pm max. so that u can peacefully enjoy sunset and camel rides as temperature is nice at that moment...breakfast was fine ...specially upka was tasty... cultural program team is amazing and very hardworking...deserves respect for their craft... fireworks and cake were add ons...

We were three friends and visited to them at nova their location is little bit ahead the mail sand dunes and u need to come back around 2 km to check the beautiful sand dunes for which it is know. The tent and bathroom were spacious enough for three. Dinner and breakfast were nice although they can have some more items in breakfast as there were only poha and up-ma apart from bread/butter/jam/tea/coffee. They arranged a cultured program in evening but the snacks they provided very late in evening which was a plate of pakoda and tea with it. So i guess they can give it little early so that people can have it enough early before dinner. There is only one plate of pakoda and one tea for one person. So overall stay was good for three person in 3k. They given us camel ride and zeep safari in 1700 separately.

We have booked 3 tents at Star Desert Camp on 21st Feb. 2020. We reached at the camp at 3:00, thereafter doing check-in we were taken for jeep safari. The rider was too awesome, we actually enjoyed it to the fullest after that we stayed at desert for having photographs and then during the time of sunset, we savored the camel ride. When we returned, we were welcomed with tika in accordance to Rajasthani culture. Around 7 PM, the traditional Rajasthani cultural program started, it last for 2 hours which was commendable. The dinner was good, it was all traditional Rajasthani food. The stay was comfortable, it was pleasant, though it was cold, we were provided with sufficient blankets as well as the hot water supply is too good. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the staff is also cooperative and it was safe.

Star desert camp was easy to locate. Our deluxe tent had two queen beds and an attached washroom that had semi-hot water. They had free breakfast and veg dinner buffets and a cultural programme in the evening that included fire dance. The tent was comfortable and they provided additional quilts for the night time cold temperature. The food was average and we did not like the breakfast options. We booked our jeep safari for dune bashing and camel ride from outside the Star Desert Camp for much cheaper than the rate they were quoting. The staff helped us with the luggage. Overall, it was a good experience though i wish the washroom was a little better.

The sunset view in dunes was fascinating. Evening event by folk singer & dancer, followed by dance party. Dinner was delicious. And the room was pretty clean. And the staff behavior was very good towards the guests. Great environment.

Recently stayed at this motel, and i can confidently say it was an excellent experience. Camel safari and jeep safari, rajathani folk music and dance with culture program all best quality the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, it provided outstanding value for the price. I highly recommend this motel for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

If you want to stay in sam sand dunes, then you can not find a better place than Star Desert Camp. It is just near the dunes with outstanding tents. The Rajasthani folk dance and songs were just mind-blowing. The camel ride provided by them was excellent. The food quality is so delicious that you will never forget. It is in safe location and never forget the experience. The staffs are awesome and friendly. Raju, Mustaque, Malik and Arif are very friendly and helpful. So this tent is highly recommendable.

It was a great time spent in the Desert at the Camp. The accommodation was cozy, comfortable. Food was best one can expect in a Desert with lots of variety. The manager and staff were very well behaved and asked for our needs. Overall a great experience.

The staffs were really helpful in getting the things done and the cultural activities which the conducted was also great, there was a camel safari in the morning during sunrise but the guy arrived little late. Apart from this issue rest everything was great. A perfect stay.

Excellent stay with superb facilities. The staff was very courteous and careful with the guest's requirements. The rooms were nest and tidy with very good food in the resort. Overall a perfect stay. Highly recommended. Was taken care very well by the staff

The location was good with clean toilets and clean room. There was folk dance and music show every evening. They provide breakfast and dinner only which was above average. They also provide snacks and tea in the evening during folk music and dance.
