Hotel staff is prompt and courteous, Location is good but building surroundings are untidy (with Panwala and other such types of shops all around)as it is situated in the main market. Rooms are very small. Breakfast and room service is good but I feel that the deal was overpriced because : 1)Bed linen was not fresh and was torn (weeded out threads) 2)No buffet option is given in complimentary breakfasts. In the given choices one food item and one beverage could be selected which is served in the room. Overall it could be selected for a short stay. Plus point is the co-operativeness of the Hotel staff and their good behavior.

I booked this Status Business Hotel The Mall online.. I keep on visiting Kanpur for my business purpose. It is on very prime location, and the most importantly it has a food joint by the same name.. Status treat just opposite the property. So food was no problem and moreover delicious too. Front desk was little lazy but still fine. It was value for money.. And in a city like Kanpur if we compare this Status Business Hotel The Mall with other properties of same cadre.. Then I say I recommend this for business travellers.

If was limited choices first of all. Even then almost all of the containers were empty and the staff was saying that it will take 20-30 mins to refill them and by then breakfast time will be over while at least 10 guests were waiting for breakfast. Even for tea, had to wait for 20 mins. Ordered bread Omelet on a paid basis. Still, they brought the only omelet saying that bread was not available and they charged full.

Although the outside area is very dirty, i liked the cleanliness inside the Status Business Hotel The Mall, as they have maintained it good. No restaurant inside Status Business Hotel The Mall but there is a good one just on the other side of road. It took a while to locate the entrance to the Status Business Hotel The Mall, as it is on first floor and one has to stairs to reach there. No lift.

It is a very good Status Business Hotel The Mall situated in a very prime location. Room are good and spacious with a mini fridge and all that. Overall I had a pleasant stay there. It has its own restaurant which provided very good and rich food and was reasonable as well.

Came to kanpur for some important work, comfortable stay.
