Pathetic houseboat experience - one of the worst!

familyThis is not a complete houseboat experience. You get only 5 hours cruise time and rest is at their resort. In fact dinner and breakfast is served in the restaurant at the resort. We also requested for 1 hour cruise in the morning to the people incharge which was clearly communicated to them. And there was no proper communication at all. Eventually everyone within their resort kept blaming each other and just didn’t want to honour what was requested and agreed. TV wasn’t working either, no wi-fi, no upper deck/terrace. No cruising for 15 hours and what is expected to be done just sitting inside the docked boat.

familyThe boat is superbly maintained. Five-star service on water. Everything is sparkling clean. Staff is courteous and helpful. Food provided on the boat was elaborate and delicious. Food at the resort restaurant is also good, but would have been better had they didn’t repeat the items from the lunch in the dinner. Plus, it was on-table buffet; so, not too many options. Boat tour was also good; however, they didn’t cover any particular spots. Games room in the resort was not properly maintained; plus, they were charging extra money for a couple of games - so, that was not good. Spa facility at the resort is amazing - both in terms of ambiance and the service, although bit expensive.

Average houseboat stay and overpriced property

familyGood location. Excellent services. Cordial staff. They have to improve quality of food. Buffet menu is limited. Special thanks to manager alush. Houseboat stay could be made better by regularly ventilating the rooms and washrooms. Offensive odour and stuffiness which air freshner cannot take out but will need sunlight and fresh ventilation. Property is not as big as showcased. For ensuring guests privacy staying overnight in the houseboat, the houseboat should have a main door which can be locked from inside. During our stay people kept walking in the houseboat and we had no privacy at all. Houseboat itinerary mentions lot of visits and stops like boat building site and water sports site which we were not taken to. Also boat ride stops in the evening by 6 pm. You are tied up after that till your checkout next day. They should take houseboat guests for ride in the morning also. Other houseboats take their guests for ride in the mornings also for 2 hours.

familyWe had booked this houseboat on short notixe. The property is a resort and has the houseboat docked just outside the hotel reception. Houseboat is good and luxurious. The staff that was with us was very attentive and helpful. They took care of all the requests. Food on board was miz of borth and southern delicacies. There is an option to try local fish or seafood bought while o the boat itseld though we didnt ac-ail the option. Overall houseboat was clean ans good. We had bookes a family suite for 5 adults and we had 2 good bedrooms for our size. Please note that houseboat comes back and is docked in the property for the night. The property itself has lot of options for activities and spa.
