Sterling Kufri

Nice property with good location and good food. A big issue with other amenities like swimming pool, snooker etc. On mm t it is showing that property is having indoor pool named plush but they don't have swimming pool. Property is having jacuzzi in common area which can be use on extra payment (rs. 300+taxes per person, other indoor activities (i. E. Snooker etc) other than carrom, chess is also available with extra charges (rs. 200+taxes per person per activity. It is not good, it must be available in room tariff. Apart of this property is having 2 building one is old one and one is new one. Old building doesn't have lift and one has to use stairs only for upto 3 floors as per room selection. New building is having lift but entire area is having smell due to jacuzzi i think. No space for outdoor activities other than a open badminton court which is also small and not maintained properly. Property needs so much renovation in every area.

We had just spent 4 days in shimla before checking in here and were primarily looking to explore mashobra and nearby places. We experienced our first heavy snowfall here on day 2 ! the whole place was transformed and there was a carpet of soft snow right up to our doorstep. The food service and housekeeping teams had a tough time ensuring quick service, but, hats off, they did a fantastic job. It was too cold to make the walk to the dining room, but the boys took good care of us. Food, generally in Sterling Kufris in that region seems to offer a very limited choice. Perhaps something could be done. Otherwise very nice stay and would look forward to visiting again!

We stayed for 3 nights with family. Hotel is located on main road and gives a good view of the valley. Neat and tidy rooms, well trained and courteous staff. The kitchen staff went out of way to meet specific dietary needs of my kid. Would like to specifically mention hari ji who heads the lost and found department. We forgot to carry one of my wife's two phones during checkout and only realised it when we reached back home. Hari ji contacted us and ensured delivery of our phone within 3 days. We greatly appreciate the work ethic of staff and hospitality we received. It made our stay memorable.

This Sterling Kufri has got a vibe of an grand old mansion at hill location. We got valley view room, which were good. Few things are old and need to be repaired. For e. G. One glass door in our bathroom partition was missing. The restaurant has got limited menu which they curtailed during covid but haven't got back to full menu yet. Buffet breakfast is good but more options could be provided. Overall nice cozy stay.

Staff was cooperative and nicely behaving. Mr. Akhilesh is rendering excellent service. Property ambitious is not attractive. When we compare it with your masoori property, it requires a lot of improvement/renovation required. Food items in breakfast to be improved. Outside rooms and main entrance is not attractive. My experience with make my trips is excellent. Keep it up.

This Sterling Kufri is the best in terms of hospitality. We had to cancel 2 rooms at the last moment due to medical emergency and they happily refunded the whole amount. Also, when we checked in, 2 of our 6 rooms were not upto the mark and when we complained, they upgraded us to premium room. The food is good andaffordable. In all very happy with our stay at sterling!

Staying at Sterling Kufri was an awesome experience. We stayed in the resort only as there was raining outside. The room was grand with a marvellous valley view, staffs were cordial and food was great with a lot of varieties (indian and western cuisines). The vicinity was clean and filled with greeneries. We enjoyed the stay.

We have stayed at sterling kufri on 24th january, 2023. The classic room, room no. 504 was allotted us. The room was excellent, clean and perfect. Location is also very good. Wonderful view of mountain range from the room. Restaurants and food quality also very good. Thanks to all team of sterling for giving the service.

The location is good, food and hospitality is very good, but they are charging 18% tax on food which is against the guidelines.

The food and amenities were amazing. The room also had a beautiful view. But the prices for walk - in and the prices online were quite different, so it is better to book online.

Staying at sterling was peaceful. As it was surrounded by mountains. Rooms and bathrooms were hygienic.

Rooms were very very clean and staffs were so good. Had a pleasant stay with good food and ambience. Enjoyed the breakfast. Staffs were so helpful, polite and our cab ride to kalka was so good with a smooth and safe driving. Had a pleasant stay.

Our stay overall was good. The location is good, food and service is good too. We went on jean end so was very cold. The area of improvement is the central room heating was not up to mark. We had to ask for extra heater to warm ourselves. It was provided by the Sterling Kufri.
