Sterling Wayanad

The drive to this property from bengaluru is superb. Especially the forest belt of bandipur, early drive sure to spot some animals. Light rains add to the bliss of the drive. The property is located amid the forest. Private and secure. Neat check-in and check-out, quite fast. The welcome was warm and we settled in quickly. The property is serene, has a fish pond, an awesome pool, good restaurant and an amazing spa. The rooms are big and comfy. The buffet breakfast/ dinner is good and has variety, with live counters for dosa and bhature and tandoor. Do try the malabar biryani, it's amazing. Oh n it has a game area as well. Tt, air hockey a pool table and a kids play area. Try the zip line as well. This place doesn't have a bar, no spirits are served here. The walk along the property is blissfully, or you could just soak in the greens. The staff is eager to make you comfortable and keep you happy. Recommended to stay for 2 nights.

It was an overall 'good' stay but wasn't 'excellent. This is my 4th time at a sterling resort - i found most of the staff at the resort quite friendly and helpful. I would like to pass my special thanks to lakshmi (at the restaurant, she was fabulous, and kavya for all their help. While i had reported an issue that jeopardized my stay ( cold winds leaking in thru my window, i got sick as a result now ) the manager totally lagged customer orientedness. While i believe he and his team worked on fixing the reported issue, but he had no courtesy to update me if it was fixed and what was done to fix it. Totally found it ridiculous and felt insulted as a sterling customer. He obviously appears to have done something, but that hadn't resolved the issue fully but resolved it 25. I wish sterling's customer inclination gets back to older days. Thank you!

The resort is beautiful. The rooms are good, neat and clean. Bathrooms are clean. The rooms are spacious. Some premium rooms have a small kitchen are with extra sink and microwave. Staff is very polite. I had asked for room change because of my toddler and they did give me a new room next day. They have activity centre where there are different indoor games, toddlers and kids play area, zip line and they conduct group games, pottery, feeding the fishes in the pond. Spice garden walk. The only problem i faced and reduced 1 rating is because of food. Overly price like 1 plate butter chicken will cost 750. We had complimentary breakfast and dinner buffet both were not upto the standard.

It was great experience staying at Sterling Wayanad. The property location is in the forest. The food served it great we enjoyed the dishes we ordered. The staff/people are so cooperative and fulfil the requirement of the guests. It was my wedding anniversary and the have surprised us by decorating our room. The activity manager is so good he keeps all the guest entertained by making them to take part in activities. Things to improve:- cleanliness in the rooms. The rooms are cleaned however the area under the sofa or bed are not Getting cleaned. My kids toy fell under the sofa that’s way I found lot of dust under it. At last I had pleasant stay in the resort

Amazing property location and maintained well. Housekeeping and service is very good. Food taste is very good and buffet spread is standard maintained. Staff service and pool service is also good. Kids play area activities is also very good. Only drawback is delay in in-room services and ala carte orders. They lac coordinating well with room service and restaurant. Quick arrangements for special occasions like florist, chocolate or gift packs not available and may be pure arrangement can be made. We loved live music played in the restaurant on our anniversary night dinner. Overall we enjoyed stay with kids.

Location is in corset area.. which is good.. Hotel Wi-Fi coverage in d area not great.. Airtel 4g does not work.. Location is nice and quiet though which is great..Amenities are good.. zip line.. Archery.. pottery.. shooting game and all indoor games like air hockey.. Driving simulator.. PS4 games.. outdoor.. Swimming pool.. SPa are all good amenities.. Service is excellent.. staff is quick.. n polite.. Greets guests.. Food.. Breakfast is good with continental.. North Indian and south Indian Dishes…Dinner is good too but I had better Dinner experiences in other 4 star Resorts though

The property is located approximately 10km from sulthan bathery. Most of the tourist attractions are far away from the Sterling Wayanad but thats what you are here for, explore wayand and get lost into the lush green forests, trees, valleys, waterfalls, lakes and what not. Hygiene wise the property is good. I would say the food at the restaurant was average with limited options for breakfast. The play area is major attraction for kids and my 5 year ild enjoyed a lot during our stay there. Overall a decent stay i would say.

The entire experience was excellent, right from check in , dining, facilities, hospitality, engagement with activities and games in the evening!! They give you suggestions on sight seeing places around the area if interested to see around!!!! Awesome Stay with all facilities very nicely maintained. The staff has been excellent in terms of interaction, suggestions and engagement as well.. Great Holiday!!! Note: Some activities are chargeable and also there is no mobile signal. Wifi is the only option.

We had a wonderful trip though it was pouring all through, beautiful property midst of the jungle. Clean rooms and awesome food. We had a lovely time at the resort.

The stay at sterling wayanad was pleasant. Food taste and quality was good.

Fantabulous. One of the best properties in wayanad. A must visit place to enjoy with your family and kids.

It was one night stay for my son's birthday. We reached too early but Sterling Wayanad accommodated us and it was a great gesture. Room was clean and nice spacious. Arun and vishnu at front deat were superb. Kudos to them. Jithin at restaurant was also excellent. Dilip at activity was so friendly with all guests and engaging well with them. Zip line boys were also fantastic. Buggy drivers were curtious. Food was fantastic and buffet was nice.

Our stay at sterling was good. Sterling is located little bit off the city. Property is well maintained and great. Breakfast menu was good. Housekeeping was not upto the standards

Comfortable and clean rooms great hospitality they have 100 mtrs zip line for kids and adults in resort itself which was a great plus. No complaints at all.

It's a good weekend stay. Food was good but could have been a little faster

Great property, lovely and peaceful! the villas are surrounded by lush greenery and the property is equipped with all amenities. The in-room dining has limited options and fixed timings, however apart from this aspect we had a great stay!

It was a fantastic trip by all standards i. E. From room and food hygiene to support given by staff.

The best part of the stay was the location which is just adjacent to the forest. The property is vast, there is plenty of area to walk around, loved the swimming pool too. Breakfast was a little below expectation in terms of the food variety but its quite understandable since businesses are just recovering post covid. Room was well kept and it feels fairly new. Would definitely stay again if vacationing in wayanad.
