The room offers a private wooden balcony, 200-year-old fresco murals carved on the walls, old and precious artefacts, traditional tapestry and fabric, a writing desk, closet/wardrobe, linens and toiletries.
• The Royal Suite: It is a colourful and lavishly appointed room with a wooden balcony that opens up to the palace courtyard and the valley beyond. The space is a delightful mix of pastel shades and traditional wood and mud-brick stylings. The room comes with a double bed and is lavishly appointed with a dressing area and a cosy bedroom with a sitting area.
• Standard Suite Rooms: Each of the 4 suite rooms is a unique space in different parts of the palace. The well-appointed rooms with en-suite bathrooms exude ample charm and capture the essence of Ladakhi simplicity. The room offers a Valley view. Some of these suite rooms have balconies whereas others may offer more space.

Activities & Nearby Attractions

• Guests staying at the property can visit Khardung La Pass which is just 52.1 km from the Palace. A favourite spot for adventure lovers, the pass is the highest motorable pass in the world.
• The 15th Namgyal Tsemo Monastery, which is just 5 minutes from the Palace is another most frequented by tourists to soak in the extraordinary views from atop the monastery.
• Just behind it is the 17th century Leh Royal Palace. The palace holds significance for history lovers as the museum stores a great collection of artefacts shedding light on the cultural history of the region.
• Guests can also visit the Pashmina House, which is just 6 min from the hotel. Those who seek some thrill can opt for river rafting on the Indus river.

How to Reach the Property

Stok Palace is 15 km away from Leh and can be reached easily via cab service. One can also take a bus from any of the bus terminals operating in Leh.In both cases, the time taken is 30-45 minutes. The Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport is at a distance of 15.6 km.
