Stone Wood Nature Resort

The resort is beautiful. About 3 km from om beach. The roads in gokarna are generally a bit narrow. There is decent car parking space in the resort, and the road downhill to the resort is fine. New villas are coming in the property. Construction is going on. About the villas, we took the valley view. It is a cozy, nice room. Wifi, tv, hot water, ac all amenities are good. Beautiful view and peaceful place. We had a plumbing issue that was sorted efficiently and immediately. All the staff are very good. There are options for adventure sports inside the resort. Restaurant food is very nice. Options may be less for room service. Nonetheless, tasty. Few friendly dogs inside the property. They are not harmful. One suggestion would be to consider coffee room service in the morning. We guess that due to the morning breakfast buffet, the staff may be short. Just to consider in future. To kicks-tart the day. Otherwise, an experience worth cherishing. Nice place. Would definitely recommend.

The property is fairly close to om beach, kudke beach and temples, but it’s on a hill and the roads are pretty narrow, even the path to enter the resort is narrow, try to get to the place in day light only, it could be dangerous later, and because of that we couldn’t properly go out in the dark. I suggest coming here with elderly members is not a good idea, steep stairs into the valley and narrow roads, they might not enjoy. Rest the ambience, food and hospitality is pretty good. It’s very nice for nature lovers and adventurous people if you want to stay in some place different.

Very nice resort in the midst of nature and greenery and quite close to om beach and kudle beach. Room was good, clean and spacious. Has in-house adventure activities like zip line etc which we could not take due to time constraint. There is a complementary nature walk too. The restaurant serves limited menu, which is quite ok. But we felt the food taste could have been better. The staff were very courteous and provided good service.

The resort is beautiful and well-maintained and the service is exceptional. Pravin, manjunath and the team at the front office, and karthik and team in the restaurant are doing an excellent job and make you feel comfortable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Food is quite good even though the choice is less

Resort location is close to mahabaleshwar temple and is situated in a quite and serene place. Rooms are clean and hygienic, swimming pool is maintained well. Staff are courteous and polite. Ala carte food was good, buffet food was okay and could be improved. Enjoyed the stay at this resort.

The stay was amazing. The Stone Wood Nature Resort staff was courteous and helpful in every manner. The food tasted amazing. The location is in a very peaceful environment, full of lush green forests and sounds of birds. Liked every bit of it to the core. !

Well maintained and professional stay. Service and food was excellent. Also provided option of early checkin and late checkout at an additional cost. Approach road is a little patchy otherwise everything else was top notch.

Property is good rooms are good. Has activities for at the property. Food can be in-proved with more choices.

The entry steps to the reception and resort are too steep to walk up and down. Can be risky for some people.
