Stone Wood Resort, Mandrem

When i booked the resort, i had mixed feelings but upon staying there for 4 days i can say its one of the best one in that area. And do not get mixed up with stonewood riverfront, this is stonewood resort and spa. The staff is highly cooperative, polite and humble. Both day and night managers along with the kitchen and serving staff are highly appreciated for their welcoming gesture. Cottages are nice, well equipped and clean with both hot n cold water, ac, tv, toiletries and coffee tray. Hosekeeping cleans them everyday and refills everything. Parking area is good, cars and scootys can be parked outside easily. Food was great. Not a lot of items in the buffet but everything tasted great. Pool was nice, clean and enough for a small dip. Overall would give 4 out of 5 stars

We loved our 2 days stay at the resort. Right from checking in to till the time we left- the hospitality was marvelous. The villa room provided to us was awesome, the staff was extremely polite and professional. The resort is just at a walking distance from both ashwem & mandrem beach in either directions. Inf-act you can enjoy the resort pool during morning/afternoon and take sun bath if beach fun isn't enough. Last but not the least the food served at the resort was of finest quality when we were there. It was so good that we were compelled to have dinner there all 2 days rather than trying somewhere else. Gautam ji and staff took at-most care of us while serving and intensified our food experience with best of their in restaurant and room services.

Had been with family in july. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The cottages got a little scary in heavy rains with rain falling on wood the noise is spooky. So they next day shifted us to concrete cabins. Very neat and clean interiors and exterior decor. Clean pool. Breakfast options were ok - reasonable on the price paid. My 70 yr old mother was well taken care of. They even gave us umbrellas for the rains to keep for the duration of the stay. Very friendly people of staff. Manager also was good, both day and night. Chef was also very nice and polite and his paneer wrapped in papad sabzi was amazing.

Quiet location, though not very close to the beach. Good breakfast spread and fast room service despite the distance of the kitchen from the room. However the item served might not be exactly what is described on the menu card, e. G. The fish fries were served without the french fries although it was specifically mentioned on the menu card that the fish fries would be served with tartar sauce and french fries. The door to the toilet would not even shut. The people at the reception, in the restaurant and the housekeeping staff are quite polite and everyone responds very quickly and efficiently.

The property is very serene. Located on mandrem at north goa. Morjim, ashvem, mandrem beaches are also very nearby. They also offer two wheeler motorbikes for rent (not sure about 4 wheelers, please check with them. Good breakfast spread with live counters also available. Service was also very prompt and all queries were addressed by the reception. There is a well sized pool too and also there is a general store just opposite to this property. Overall, good property for all including families. Looking forward to stay again.

Nice ambience. Neatness and hygeine upto the mark. Beautiful outdoor areas. Spacious washrooms with classy interiors breakfast menu was okay and sufficient but taste and quality of buffet spread was requiring a bit more betterment. Ala carte was wonderful in taste and quality but quantity was less on comparison with the price. Execllent discounted price ranges for rooms and that too with free breakfast at price of 2700 per night for 2 people was the most wow part of our stay. Thank you mm t and stone wood, mandrem

Beautiful view. Pretty clean. Well maintained and the staff is very nice. We didn't have to eat outside much, because the food at the restaurant in the Stone Wood Resort, Mandrem is really tasty. Try the chicken patyala if you go there. The room has tea, coffee, sugar packets as well which is kinda nice. The only thing that would have made it best would be the tv service. They don't have regional(kannada) channels or english channels. There's nothing much to watch after you come back to your room in the evening.

Wonderful, cosy with surrounding greenery this property is amazing to stay and unwind. We enjoyed the food, amenities and prompt services from the Stone Wood Resort, Mandrem staff. Special mention to Ratul for helping me find places to visit in Goa with family. We opted for free breakfast plus one meal and we ended up having all our meals here as the food was super delicious. Room for improvement: use less oil. thank you for making our stay wonderful 😊

This is a Stone Wood Resort, Mandrem where i had a stay for 1 night but it was fab!the service was superb!no arguments. No mistakes. Everything was very good. The food was also suoer tasty! the room was very clean, fragrant and fresh. The bathroom was also very clean. The Stone Wood Resort, Mandrem was superb

The resort was just beautiful and the service was an add on. The staff behaviour was so goood. Special mention to mr. Suraj for such warm hospitality.

The stay was amidst the luscious greens , it was just so perfect, the well maintained cute cottages, and the hygiene was top notch, friendly staff with a beautiful ambiance made our stay a memorable one. will definitely visit whenever am in Goa.😍😍

It was a great experience. Place is quiet, the ambiance is great, and the food is also great. Service was great and very close to popular beaches like ashwem, mandrem, arambol, morjim staff was very polite. I would recommend this place to everyone

it's a good place for a couple quiet. with nice view of sea. service is also good. staff is very friendly. highly recommended for family and couples👍🏻. breakfast is very good with different varieties. shops for bike rent are very near by. excellent room service. rooms were good.

Room is very clean everything is arranged neatly. Everything is good except the location of the Stone Wood Resort, Mandrem. Its too far from places like baga, calangute, panaji.

The rooms are clean, resort is well maintained. Good value for money. The north indian food in the restaurant is delicious. We were surprised to find chicken lehsuni tikka, dal makhani, raita and naan to be actually at par in taste with some of the best restaurants in delhi. The server mr. Prakash is very helpful and recommends the right items. The chef makes good food.
