Stone Wood Riverfront Resort

The resort was a perfect place to write. The staff is polite and courteous and the food options not bad. The problem is connectivity and guests are at the mercy of the travel operator recommended by the Stone Wood Riverfront Resort who try to fleece you 800 rupees to chapora (six km distance. Luckily i had the number of a driver from my last trip to siolim and the driver took me to chapora for 500. For a remote resort, a travel and transport assistance could be better since the property claims to be like 4 star. Worse, the motorcycle vendor and taxi suppliers to the resort claim they their pricing is decided by the resort and they also tried to harass the driver who came to pick me up.

Resort is located at a very good river side view. We booked a cottage room and was sort of ok for the budget. To start with lunch, the items provided were limited but were quite good in quality and taste. Enjoyed the lunch. Swimming pool is ok and water is clean and depth is sufficient for kids and adults. Dinner options are available with sea food as well as chicken. Evening scene is ideal for photography shoot. Breakfast is very good and very good quality, with sufficient items in menu. All over stay was good

A perfect place to stay for a well reserved vacation. It was calm and quite a place. We had the luxury of a private balcony which was not accessible for other guests. The City might a bit far from the place but you'll have a bike/car rental right outside the gate only. The reception was super friendly as well as others too. We really liked the place and had a happy stay over there.

The place is located on the banks of a river which gives it a awesome back water feel. The breakfast is very ordinary but the staff in the restaurant is always help full with a smile. The cleanliness and maintenance in the rooms is one thing they should work on to give the guest a awesome experience. Overall a nice and pleasant stay but would not go back.

Sometimes getting a little personal.

So the look and view of the resort was really good. It had a river flow attached to the property. Place was clean and rooms were clean the only problem is food here not at all good. Staff here is very nice and coperative overall a good experience besides food

We spontaneously planning a night at this resort. It was difficult to get there as there were no proper boards. The resort was small but beautiful. A mixed architectural style next to the river. It's a must visit especially during the sunset.

The room was good though they can improve the furnishings. The view from our room was simply spectacular. Great place to hang out with the family. Amazing view, wonderful pool and a quiet place to wind down.

The location was kinda bad as it's too far from the beaches but the view from the room was awesome.

The place is just next to the floating River and the room is also good, nice place for clicks

Room with balcony view is just amazing. All the beaches are just 5 to 8 kms away.

Worth the money as the location is good but the only problem in the property was their network. If anyone's thinking to do work from home in this location. Not possible.

Staff, courtesy and food was awesome. Loction seems remote from outside but from inside its beautifully made on back waters of goa
