Stonewood Villa

Our time in stonewood villa was nothing short of magical. We had booked the premium cedar rooms that give you a feel of staying in a wooden cottage with breathtaking views. The staff is courteous and friendly and the service was great. This boutique Stonewood Villa was the best combination of getting a feel of staying in a Stonewood Villa as well as a homestay, warm and cozy! the Stonewood Villa is located in majhkali, which mind you made up of beautiful quaint villages and is a paradise of nature lovers who like to walk around, explore and hike! what a holiday it was! uttarakhand is beautiful and stonewood made the experience totally worth it.

This property is a call to people who are looking for noise free zone, close to nature, beautiful ambiance, comfortable stay, clean and big rooms and washrooms, delicious menu to make your day special mention must try their local cuisines as well and this property runs two lovely and very welcoming host Mr. Shubham and Ms. Pooja (owners) they will go to every extent for make your stay comfortable. They have a set of very diligent staff who are happy to serve you as per your need. View from Stonewood Villa is very scenic. It is 2-3 hrs journey from Haldwani and 9 kms from Ranikhet.

The resort was just amazing. It's a recently opened property of the Summit group. It is on the highway from Ranikhet to Majkhaali. We had booked a cedar room and the room was excellent. It had a balcony with a very serene view overlooking the valley and snow clad mountains. The food we ordered was also delicious. Just two cons I would like to mention 1. Rooms are a bit overpriced. Can be reduced. The parking space can be developed properly. Right it's in a state that if it rains, one would have to walk on the slush and get in the car.

I will fall short of words to praise this place's location, view to valleys and Himalaya, staff's softness and etiquette, approach ability and friendliness of the owner Shubham, nicely decorated and built rooms with very simple yet fantastic decor. Except some minor troubles of hot water in bathrooms, the stay was as fantastic and wonderful that made me forget my own home. Spent 4 days here and felt nostalgia when leaving. Amazing Stonewood Villa! Would strongly recommend to stay here if planning to visit the area.

Its a newly built property having clean, spacious and beautifully designed rooms. Amazing view of snow-clad Himalayas from balcony and roof. Best part owner of the property (Shubham) himself took care about the comfort of the guest. Rather we loved the place so much that we extended our stay for one more day. Food was nice and staff was very friendly and supportive. Overall a great experience, we highly recommend them if you want a peaceful place with great hospitability on your next trip to Ranikhet.

Great location, very good quality food and excellent service. The staffs were very friendly and helping but the size of room is very compact. MMT’s suggestion of room for 6 adults and 1 child was 2 rooms. This was not right and we faced a lot of difficulty in adjusting all of us into that small room. Highly suggest to book 1 room just for 2 adults and 1 child (up to 5 years) for any type of room here. This suggestion is based on the size of the compact rooms they’ve to offer.

It was a cloudy Sunday when I reached Ranikhet, and it remained cloudy all the day. I don't know whether it rained or not because Stonewood Villa was within the clouds. Anyone going to Ranikhet, you must stay at Stonewood if you want your trip to be a success. The view is fantastic and so is the lovely delicacies the chefs will give you. The owner of the property are too good to be a host.

We had an amazing experience at the stone wood Stonewood Villa on this new year 2020. It is a complete package comprising the beautiful scenery, humble staff, decor of the room, common terrace/dining room for meeting new people and the very amicable owner Mr. Shubham. Superb location and valley view from Stonewood Villa, staffs are highly cooperative, very clean, good food. We have opted for bunk bed rooms, very much attractive

I had a very comfortable stay. The bed sheets were clean and the room was well maintained. The staff was courteous and polite. The food was simple and good to taste. The view of mountains from this Stonewood Villa was spectacular.

This property has an absolutely majestic view of both the valley as well as the hills. You can see the snowpeaks from your bed even. The staff is very cordial. Food is good and the best part is that there is an awesome trek that starts from the Stonewood Villa itself and not to forget two lovely dogs samba and zara. Would love to visit soon

New property with excellent room, rooftop view of Himalayan range, made better with personal touch of the owners.

Location is good but service was very bad. Rooms were not that clean. On the name of staff there was only a single guy.

Excellent stay. Location of the Stonewood Villa is beautiful and the staff is very courteous. New spacious infrastructure with mouth-watering food. The owners of the Stonewood Villa are amazing and will guide you to nearby unexplored places. Must have: Pahaadi Chicken, Chicken Kalimirch and Mutter Paneer.

Peaceful location and all staff is also good

The property is brand new, 6 months old when we visited in December 19. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food options are limited It's actually 7 kms away from Ranikhet. Near golf course.

I really appreciate the Stonewood Villa room quality, amenities and cleanness. Location is great and service is also good.
