Sumitel Shangrila

I had a wonderful stay at sumi sangrila with my parents. Premium rooms are awesome with a view. I got an upgrade. The location of the Sumitel Shangrila is awesome. Close to mg market and taxi/bus stand. Shared cabs are available at any time for 20 rs/person. Front desk team sukman, soring, diden, pema are very helpful. Breakfast options are great. Sneha, nikita, arpan, sangam, bishal, albert are very friendly and helpful. Whenever asked for anything it was quickly delivered with a smiling face. A special thanks to sneha. The housekeeping team passang & phurba are very prompt. All our requirements were quickly fulfilled whenever called.

Located at prime location with great terrace view, this property is a nice stay. We stayed at the triple prime attic room which was very spacious and regularly cleaned. Staff and service was great. Breakfast was good with decent options. Mg market is near, so you can take a shared taxi (20 rupees per person) just outside the Sumitel Shangrila since there is a taxi stand opposite to it. Additional experience we faced was that since there are no acs or fans in the rooms, we had to ask for an additional fan since it was getting a bit soffocated. Wifi signal was weak in our room which needs to be improved

We would like to mention the staff-nikita sneha riya arpan sangam bishal and albert. From restaurant team. Sukman souring did-en and puma from front desk. And even house keeping team. We 3 of female travel-led first time to gangtok. And booked sum i shangri-la. It was one of the best stay we had in budgeted Sumitel Shangrila. The food is excellent and has nice spread, even the staffs are very courteous. We want to mention here for chefs too. Reception staff is very cooperative and took care of our requests. Would highly recommend to go for, if you are staying in gangtok.

I had booked premium rooms on 6th floor and got the best services available. Waited very less on arrival as rooms were made available swiftly. Greetings from all the staffs made our day and we loved the hospitality. The breakfast spread on the other hand was quite appealing, they had a wide range of food options. To my surprise, an arrangement of both idle and ch-ole bhature own my heart as i am a foodie myself. The stay has own my heart. Just expected for casual sleepers to be present with other toiletries. That would be the only thing i missed out.

We could get a mountain view room since our check-in was late. but laurels were taken away by food and dining... special thanks to Gyan Tchen whose great timing overwhelming guest handling and best part junior member of our family was annoyed due to some reason 🙄 but Gyan's constant interaction and fulfilling her demands was overwhelming 😊...so is Sneha. Location is prime with 2min walk from ropeway...and 10 min cab ride to market...overall pleasant stay with pleasant courteous people in pleasant surrounding 😊🙂

Our room was beautiful with a mountain view, Sumitel Shangrila is 1. 5 km away from mg marg but taxi is easily available only 20 rs fare. Everything was fine in the Sumitel Shangrila but one thing i didn't liked about the Sumitel Shangrila is when we were out of the room, room service staff unlocked my room, entered in my room without informing me. I have never seen in any Sumitel Shangrila that in my absence anybody can enter our room. Its really a privacy issue rather than this incident every thing was fine

Our stay at Sumitel Shangrila sumi shangri-la deorali was very pleasant. Since the Sumitel Shangrila was almost empty due to off-season, although they have maintained high quality of cleanliness and hygenic. The staffs, from front desk to room service were prom t and cooperative. Food was awesome. We got parking space easily. Overall the stay was very good and we would love to stay again at this place. Thank you make my trip for best offered rates and thank you sumi for providing us a home away of home.

We have stayed in this place multiple times and each and every-time we have had a wonderful experience. Very convenient location great food and the most imp thing r hat is service is absolutely great. The front office staff sukman/ soring/ diden are very polite and courteous as well as the restaurant staff arpan/nikita/bisha/sangam/sneha are wonderful. What makes the Sumitel Shangrila great is the service and these guys really put a mark on it. Thank you everyone, see you soon.

Location of the property is really close by ropeway which is a major plus, staff os really good and talking about food they serve some good quality food. All in all my stay was amazing.

The Sumitel Shangrila is located at the city center. Hotel is very best and the staff very polite and accommodative. Staff members Sneha, Nikita, captain Arpan, Sangam, Bishal, Albert were very helpful. Thank you team.

The Sumitel Shangrila room was clean and tidy. service was good and the food served was of supreme quality. The staff was very forthcoming and ready to serve at all times.
