SUMMER HOUSE RESORT

Stayed Summer House Resort, Yercaud. They have 12 rooms, of which 3 in the first floor are Valley view rooms. They have parking space for 4 cars and can adjust 3 more if you have enough driving skills. Enjoyed spacious rooms and toilets with nice view of the Valley. The toiletries, water, and towel were provided but tea making kettle and cups were missing. There were a fridge and fan in the room but no AC not required. For first time you will feel the approach Road is congested and steep but it is not that bad to compare to other roads in Yercaud. GPS will give you the location correctly near to Bus Stand. Not far away from the rest of Yercaud. They have a small garden, kids play area, a rabbit, 2 ducks, and a small fish pond to amuse kids. The dinner and breakfast were tasty. You may feel the food costly when you see the menu, but it is the average rate in Yercaud. The frequent power cut was a problem but they have power back-up. Early check-in was not allowed, but after check-in, I understood that was necessary to take care of already check-in customers. You will wonder why, still I gave excellent, if I am giving any less rating then I am cheating future visitors of Summer House Resort and Yercaud.

Summer House is in a good location. It's not tough to find. There's a smallish market a few steps away from it. But the noise and the hustle bustle doesn't reach the SUMMER HOUSE RESORT. It's close by to three view points, called Ladies' seat, Gents' seat, and Children's seat. It's close by to the town center as well. We stayed in a spacious, clean, warm room, with a small anteroom, a small veranda, a big attached bathroom, and a common lawn in front. The room had a lovely four-poster bed and matching, tasteful wooden decor. We took the valley view room, but the view isn't all that great. But at night, you could sit with a cup of tea in the veranda and enjoy the wind and look at the lights in the valley. The wind is quite fierce here and you can hear it all day long. The restaurant serves tasty food, but it is a tad overpriced. The complimentary breakfast fare was quite nice though. The people are very kind, helpful, and courteous, and service is prompt. On the second night, they lit us a bonfire on their own. Quite the perfect place for a quiet weekend.

The location of the resort is very near to the bus stand and nice to take a walk down to the lake. Loved the food there, chef makes it to your taste buds. Room service, staff, cleanliness everything is just very good. Spacious rooms with awesome valley view balcony. This was my 1st visit to Yercaud, Mr. Srinivas, the manager and Ms. Sudha were very helpful from guiding how to reach to the places for sightseeing in and around Yercaud. A bonfire with music was arranged on my birthday eve and a cake at midnight, all on just one request. I would highly recommend the place for couples and families. If one is staying over a weekend, you can enjoy the sounds of church bells and carols coming to your room from the church down the valley view from resort.

We were pleasantly surprised by the dreamy location, spacious pretty rooms and impeccable hospitality. Great food and price and lovely rooms with poster beds that are my personal favorites and hammocks with quiet views of the valley in the balcony.. The terrace and bonfire and picturesque views of the sunset while sipping on their masala teas were breathtaking.. It's more than what you are paying and everything you would want on a relaxing vacation, while we planned a last minute trip this was a lovely surprise.. They helped us in every way they could, never heard no we cannot do this, I would say a romantic property with a very natural warm and cozy vibe. Would definitely come back for all of this! Keep it up guys!

Would you ever believe if i say this resort is awesome in its way? of course yes and my words are true. Even if make my trip has 10 stars to be given for sure will give all 10, seriously there is no negative views or points from my side to share. A place where you can enjoy its view point, climate and a save environment. Guest security was given first preference and felt like it was like a home. And i personally suggest to have food inside the resort as they cook too good than spending lot of money in SUMMER HOUSE RESORTs. We stayed for almost 5 days and never had any problems and struggles. Well managed and properly maintained. Will visit summer house soon.

Fabulous. The customer service is excellent. I felt like I was at home. The rooms were spacious, clean and had a variety view that opened into a view of the whole mountains and the city. The food was average but you get served with freshness and that defies the taste. People are friendlier, especially the receptionist, Sudhakar, who makes sure that everything is served at its best. Thank you. The whole city, Yercaud, does not have much to offer, so if someone wants to visit, just be prepared to book a good rapper like the summer house, so that you have a relaxed time.

The resort is one of the best we have stayed at with the family. The room were the biggest and the best laid out I have ever stayed in (India) and the food/breakfast was great (bit expansive). I personally like the hospitality of the resort staff and the chef. This stay was beyond my expectation. I am glad that I have spent my quality time here with my family members. The lounge area outside was also very cool and the attractive bonfire with the music... Ah ha what a piece of support! We are satisfied with the resort stay and recommend it to my friends.

The place was amazing and very beautiful especially in the night. We went in the first week of june and still evenings and nights were cool. The beds were placed slightly away from the fans which was good and bad. If it's hot, the fan wouldn't help and you will be sweating. The food we ordered was very good and at a nominal price as well. The only disadvantage was they cooked exactly what we ordered so if we needed some extra, it would take at least an hour to get it ready again. But overall a great place to stay and would definitely recommend it.

Hotel was well-managed and room was quiet. Location was great. Staff also considered our request to check out late which made it a great stay overall. There were some minor issues with the bulb. Nice hospitality.

Hotel was located in good place and view, but the route to connect the SUMMER HOUSE RESORT was not good. Service was excellent but food was average. Staff was timely in handling requests, and the housekeeping service provided was good. Staff cooperated and the way of behaviour, receiving was super. Thanks to all the staff cooperated with us. Overall it good place to book the SUMMER HOUSE RESORT and stay with family or friends.

The staff knows our needs and there is no chaos in their functioning, they had a beautiful play area behind the restaurant with rabbits, ducks, and puppies. The place is so quaint and serene with a dedicated place for campfire and music, all add up to a warm homely experience. We are definitely going there again.

Though the location is a bit off the road, the place is very tranquil and well-kept. The staff is very courteous and helpful too. There is a market close by as well, which is quite convenient. So overall a great experience ...

Room was great, location is good. Ambience is very nice. Value for money. Only issue is with the approach to the place, it's very narrow roads and in night there are no street lights and very dark. I guess that's quite common in most of the hill stations.

The SUMMER HOUSE RESORT is clean and staff are really responsive and helpful. Overall great experience.

Good, only for family will stay there, good location for family, 2500 is the affordable price, discount coupons are useless, maximum 3000 thats fine. Facilities service cleanliness room all are fine this is only for comfort family resort good. I lake very much

Very nice rooms, the food from the restaurant is awesome. Home like food.

The food and service is good. No air-conditioner in room. But in Yercaud you do not need an ir-conditioner. An additional table fan will help on a hot summer night.
Great place to stay in Yercaud. Specially if on a budget.

This location and rooms are good and staff is excellent and overall stay was good and comfortable but considering high temp at the place, if AC would have been there in the rooms, this would be more enjoyable as AC is needed considering high temp there. All other things were good but for leisure time no outdoor facility and game is available and as it is outside main locations, it is only limited to rooms as no conveyance is available but if you are in group, nice place to stay.
