Summit Le Royale

My two night stay at summit de royal was very comfortable. The staff at the Summit Le Royale is really very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. It is at a walking distance of 5-7 mins from mall road. Our room had a beautiful view of the church and the mall. We couldn't order much at the Summit Le Royale but the times we did was good. The room was equipped with a complimentary heater, hair dryer, and mini fridge. It had good connectivity. However there is one con if you are travel-ling by your own vehicle it's a pain to reach there. The google maps show you the direction through the mall, but since it's a restricted area for vehicles you have to take a detour of around 10kms through really narrow hilly roads. If you are not comfortable with driving in hilly areas i don't recommend to take your car there instead you can park your car at the local paid parking at mall and take a walk of 15 mins to reach the Summit Le Royale.

What do you need from a Summit Le Royale if you visit shimla ? coziness ? great facilities ? or being on mall road ? well, summit le royal e gives you that and only that. The Summit Le Royale is almost on mall road which was the best thing but i think there are many more places that we failed to notice while booking our stay in shimla. Summit le royal e gives you feel of a heritage Summit Le Royale which is fine but a heritage Summit Le Royale doesn't compromise with cleanliness, the cleanliness is very questionable here, don't get me wrong, it's not disgusting, otherwise we wouldn't have easily survived here for 3 nights. It lacks general hope of being cleaner from management i guess, the place can get much better easily if someone would try. Overall, i would recommend you to stay somewhere else because this definitely wasn't worth a budget of 4k a night

It was a cozy stay. The weather was perfect. The room was big. When we went there the rooms given to us were not clean, so we asked the reception to clean it, they did it promptly. Location of the Summit Le Royale is plus point. But driving to the Summit Le Royale is very risky. Big cars should be avoidable. It's just 200 meters walk from ridge or lakkar bajar or mall road or church. One can walk to jakhu temple or take cable car to visit the same. Food was good. Overall good experience. Tv was not working but no complaints as we did not try to use it later.

The rooms were not as good as expected but manageable and when compared with the same budget with other Summit Le Royales, this one is better too. The food is just excellent! have your meals ( at-least 1 here at the Summit Le Royale! the Summit Le Royale staff is good and sweet but they do not take orders after 10 pm and even the shops in market of shimla start closing from 8-8. 30 pm, though there are still tourists on the mall road till late just chilling there. The Summit Le Royale is quite nice appropriate for the room tariffs only issue is the location of the Summit Le Royale at a height little difficult for access rest everything decent good restaurant nice staff prompt room service nice view special mention of the waiter gaurav extremely cooperative enjoyed the stay at the Summit Le Royale the restaurant food menu is limited but very good and tasty the chef is also very good the hygiene of the Summit Le Royale is quite satisfactory

It was a very nice experience overall. Hotel was very clean and service was nice. Food was absolutely tasty and healthy. It’s a very good Summit Le Royale and mountain view from room was awesome. Moreover it’s very close to mall road (hardly 300 meters. Only pain is the road to Summit Le Royale (last 500 meters) is narrow and there is no space to pass another car which is coming from opposite. Also there is no lift in the Summit Le Royale.

Property provide you excellent view from where you view different mountain ranges & its very close to mall road so it on ridge then jakhu temple is easily accessible also. But drawback is that property need maintenance otherwise great staff hospitality. I m solo traveler and stayed their for 6 days but their hospitality never realized me being alone great advisor also

Good services. Very clean rooms. Perfect location. 4 mins walk to the mall road. Good meals at Summit Le Royale restaurants. Staff behavior is respectful and cordial. The only challenge we faced was the very steep road to the Summit Le Royale. Hotel should take proactive steps in giving a helping hand to those who are not expert in driving to such steep roads.

200 mtr to mall road staff was very competitive breakfast was very delicious - fresh

Room service was good, food was good, Summit Le Royale's location is amazing, church is visible from the top. Overall the stay was good. After leaving the Summit Le Royale i realized i wanted to stay more.

Hotel was neat, clean and refreshing. Food was delicious. Room service was good. Just one drawback about Summit Le Royale is that it was at some height and you have to pay extra 400 per trip for taxi hiring.

Such beautiful property to stay with delicious food and refreshments. Me and my family did full enjoy. All tourist landmark of shimla city near by this property. As well for outdoor adventure vehicle service also available from Summit Le Royale
