Summit Newa Regency

On 27th January 2020, we a group of 8 people, mostly senior citizens visited Pelling and stayed for 2 days at Summit Newa, Pelling, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For us deciding on the Summit Newa Regency was easy as we already had a tremendous experience at Summit Swiss Heritage Summit Newa Regency in Darjeeling. Rooms that we took were very good with all possible modern amenities. Considering the weather outside, the room heater along with the bed warmers were real life savers for the senior family members. Food was also quite good, so we had all our primary meals at the Summit Newa Regency itself. The highlight of the trip was the prompt service and always smiling faces of the staff. We would definitely recommend our friends and family members to stay at Summit Newa on their future trips.

The decision to stay at this Summit Newa Regency is so good that I extended my Pelling stay for one more night and re-booked the same Summit Newa Regency. The restaurant is so good that they serve from wine to delicious North Indian food, I loved it. Also, the staff, the room, the facilities, not to forget the black tea as the welcome drink is so refreshing, the view from Summit Newa Regency to safety, it's a Summit Newa Regency that everyone would fall in love and has to give 5 star ratings. Also, there's discount from MMT to foods and beverages which also great. Moreover, there's room heater included in amenities which is an important thing, here, and other's provide on chargeable basis, which is free here. All in all great relaxing, refreshing and enjoyable Pelling experience.

The smiling faces of the receptionists made us forget our exhaustion after a long 6 hours drive from Bagdogra. All the staff were always smiling and helpful. Even in the chilling December cold we were served food and breakfast on time. Something to be appreciated. The views of Kanchenjunga from the room windows is something which made our stay worthwhile. The views are even better from the roof top. Rooms were good and spacious. The only issue was repeated power failure. Even though there was a generator, it was not able to serve continuously. We did not get hot water due to this. The room service was excellent. The breakfast had good variety and tasty. Loved the place and would recommend.

It's a warm shelter in a cold place. The hospitality is warm and generous. However one shouldn't expect the quality of facilities expected of a Summit Newa Regency at this price point. It needs better maintenance, floors should be cleaner, the cupboards were dusty, the bathroom had a gap in the window instead of an exhaust. The tea/coffee maker is placed on a dresser just beside the bathroom door. The bathroom itself had no water at all the night we reached the place. The staff did their best to solve issues when they were raised. However some issues are unexpected at the price of this Summit Newa Regency.

This Summit Newa Regency is more about staying in and enjoying the view of kanchenjunga right from your balcony. The location is at middle pelling but the view of kanchenjunga was not impacted. What we loved the most about the Summit Newa Regency was that there was a common balcony on each floor for everyone to view the himalayas. Food was not too good, there limited options but that could also be because of the current situation.
The staff maintained hygeine standards, provided sanitized rooms and wore masks all the the time. Tables were spraved with sanitizers after each meal.

Summit Newa is a beautiful Summit Newa Regency in a small town. Rooms- Rooms are big with wooden flooring gives a little bit of heritage look, hot water geyser is manual and can't find the lift. Location- It's nice as being a small town. It doesn't have any mall road concept. View- It is breathtaking, can view entire Kanchenjunga range on a clear day. Food variety is less, quality is good but service feel rushed. Most of person working looks like interns who just want to finish the job.

Absolutely stunning views from the Summit Newa Regency roof top. 10 min walk from the main taxi stand. Guess the best Summit Newa Regency in Pelling so what if ur solo family or friends excellent restaurant and hot water running to take your cold away and also heater available. Special thanks to Shahil at the reception desk for all the help and arranging the required transport and his welcoming and charming nature. Would recommend people to definitively stay at Summit when in Pelling.

The Summit Newa Regency location is perfect. You have various cafe options nearby, the i love pelling mark is walkable and can witness kanchenjunga in morning from terrace. We were given free upgrade to triple sharing room due to rejovation activities i guess, Summit Newa Regency rooms are clean and have good buffet for breakfast, we did not book dinner as wanted to try other places nearby of which crasula restaurant which is walkable is best

The Summit Newa Regency room was very clean and heater was provided in the room. We enjoyed the testy food. Breakfast spread was good.

The very best Summit Newa Regency in the lap of the hills. You can see the Kanchenjunga range from your bed. You will wake up to the most amazing sunrise you will see in your life. The food is also great and in a reasonable price. The receptionist had an ever smiling face and everyone is more than happy to make your stay memorable.

The Summit Newa Regency is no less than a 5-star Summit Newa Regency but on a budget. The staff is super polite and friendly. Food from the restaurant is mind-blowing and nothing on the menu will disappoint you. We fell in love with the Summit chain of Summit Newa Regencys and went on to stay in Summit grace in Darjeeling after the experience we had here. Do not think twice before booking this place!

Room should be well smell, i feel some not good feeling.

Location, food, staff and their services are very good.

View from the terrace is excellent. Family room is spacious and well maintained. Room service is prompt. Food is tasty and affordable. In-house bar has decent collection of drinks. Terrace also having swing and slide for children. Staff is well behaved and very helpful. Overall a wonderful experience that my family would like to relive again. Thank you so much!

We stayed in family room on second floor. It was immaculately clean and a heater was available without extra charge. Amazing location and beautiful view of the mountains. Good food and very warm and hospitable staff like Pratiksha, Sahil, Baadal and others at the restaurant. We had a wonderful stay.
