Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road )

Situated in a quiet bend around a hill, and a stone's throw away from the raj bhavan, the oak-den offers a spectacular view of the kanchenjunga from some of it's premium rooms and has a nice terrace with a great view. The rooms are large and comfortable too, but it is the personalized attention provided by its staff that truly sets it apart. While some things like the size of the bathroom, the temperature of the hot water, and the number of towels provided could be better, on the whole we didn't have much to complain about and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. A special mention for ms. Prashanti, the manager mr. Biswakarma and the masseuse ms. Dzutholu who really ensured that we were taken care of. In fact, i would highly recommend availing of the spa facility in the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ). In terms of other things, the breakfast is standard (more options in fruits would have been nice) and like most other Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road )s in and around the mall, the oak-den also does not have on-premise parking. In terms of distance from the mall, it is about twelve to fifteen minutes' walking distance. St. Andrews church is pretty close too. The part of darjeeling where the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) is located has a clear view of the kanchenjunga range and there are numerous viewing points on the road to the mall via the mahakal temple way, which add to the charm of walking to the mall by the temple route. The oak-den is one Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) where i would stay again. We loved the people who manage it and work there and their service with a smile and that made all the difference for us.

I recently stayed at the summit oak-den resort in darjeeling. I was there for a solo trip, and i was looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) was located in a quiet area, but it was still within walking distance of many of the major tourist attractions. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a large desk, and a sofa. The bathroom was also spacious, with a separate shower. The room had a great view of kanchenjunga, which was definitely a highlight of my stay and prashant and bibek at the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) were friendly and helpful. The food at the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) was delicious. I especially enjoyed the kong pa chicken, which was cooked perfectly. The breakfast buffet was also very good, with a wide variety of options. Overall, i had a great stay at the summit oak-den resort. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in darjeeling. We stayed at their premium room with view sofa cum bed room for 3 days and you can enjoy a very good scenic beauty of hill and clouds. We were able to view kanchajanga peak from the room but the weather was not clear. Hotel staff are all very helpful and courteous. Pros: very good view from the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ). Near the mall and with a 1. 8km radius you can cover kaventer, glenarys, kunga and various other eating spots. 24*7 hot water con: cab will drop near to raj bhavan and no parking space. It is very hard to get any local transportation from the location to visit nearby markets or locations which are the same issue for other Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road )s as well which are not adjacent to the mall market. The food option in this Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) looks to me very limited and i do not like the taste. Overall a good stay at the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ).

Staying in summit oak-den Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) was really a excellent deal for us. We experienced a marvelous hospitality from all the staffs of the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ). All the rooms were well decorated with marvelous furnitures. We had clear kanchanjanga view from the windows of the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ). Most important issues were bathrooms with all accessories. We experienced fine complimentary breakfast with nice taste but food prices for dinner or lunch were little bit high. We got nice beds with nice bedsheets, soft pillows, soft good quality blankets. 24 hours hot and cold water from the taps. Mall road was also not so far from the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ). It takes 10 mins to mall road on foot. Although we liked the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) very much.

Spacious, clean, and posh room. Himalayan range can be seen (not entirely, but to a larger extent, provided the weather does not play spoilsport. In-house restaurant is also up to the mark. The Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) itself is very scenic starting from the entrance and then towards the reception and even to the restaurant. The only drawback i felt was the distance from the center. You either need to walk or hire a taxi. And since it's located near the raj bhavan, vehicles can not come in front of the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ). Service and hospitality were excellent. They ensured small small things were taken care of. For e. G. I was stuck in rain at 9 pm 5-6 mins away from the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ). They ensured someone came with an umbrella and helped me from getting drenched.

Everything about the stay was perfect. The location is great, the views are stunning. The staff is polite and very welcoming. Rooms are well made and spacious. The staff even calls up before your journey to ensure you reach the correct destination. That really won me over. Right outside the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) are the well maintained view points - while we were not lucky enough to view the kanchendzonga but it still is a fabulous view. You will need to walk a short distance from the cab drop off point to the Summit Oakden Resort & Spa ( Mall Road ) but it’s not at an elevation so there won’t be any issue. Checkin time is a bit later so if you reach early you can keep your luggage and just explore darjeeling around and then come and checkin. All in all, a superb stay. Will visit again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Summit Oakden Spa Resort, and it was an experience to cherish! Just a few minutes' walk from Mall Road, the resort offers both convenience and tranquility. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the stunning view of Mount Kanchenjunga from my room—waking up to such a breathtaking sight was pure bliss. The resort is immaculately maintained, and the cleanliness is commendable. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Their warm hospitality truly made me feel at home. If you're looking for a serene retreat with easy access to the heart of Darjeeling, Summit Oakden Spa Resort is the perfect choice!

1. You get all the amenities / food/ facilities that you look for in a mid or hi-mid budget property. 2. Location is remarkable, this road (from governor house gate to mahalkal mandir) is no entry for vehicle, hence always calm, quite and all the rooms facing towards the sleeping buddha, with a clear valley in between. 3. The walk to mall chowrasta is also full of nature, you get to hear a lot of birds and hardly any slope, so even children or elderly people can walk very easily. Overall highly recommended, and a lot of my friends have stopped staying anywhere else after they realised the advantage. You have few more resorts nearby as well, in case the property is completely booked.

Me and my family enjoyed the stay at summit oakden. Breakfast was really good, variety and homely food. The staffs are very polite and friendly.

Hotel is clean. View from mountain view room is amazing. Staffs are well behaved. We stayed for 4 nights. All amenities are adequate. However to our shock one evening on arrival we found our room door wide open as housekeeping had forgotten to lock it. Luckily none of our items were stolen. Buffet is overpriced and only one non-vegetarian item in non-vegetarian buffet. Chicken makhanwala the pieces were hard and chewy.

Location is good, food is also good. Amenities and services also perfect. You may, however, improve it further by placing one separate table that may be used for keeping suitcase, particularly, while opening it.

Had a pleasant stay for 4 nights and 5 days. Amazing view of the mountains. The staffs were also very humble and friendly. The food was good too. The location is also very good. Just the drinking water had some dirt in it. Its better to have mineral water instead
