Sunflower Villa | Rooms & Caretaker

We were on a short trip to pondicherry and to pichavaram. Stayed one night. Arrived on time to the property and check in process done at ease. The property is situated in a narrow road towards the end of the street that made locating the property slightly difficult but you can trust go-ogle maps as it showed the location precisely. The property has covered car parking which can accommodate 2 medium size cars. Since there were no guest when i checked in utilised entire car parking space. However care taker told that there are more parking spaces nearby but they will not be covered. About rooms they are spacious, clean and well maintained. Washrooms were very clean like you could see in 5 star Sunflower Villa | Rooms & Caretakers. Tv was working but of course only regional channels. Wifi was working with decent speed. Kettle was provided so we can make hot water ourselves. Servant maid available so you can order for coffee, tea etc. Charges for coffee and tea were very nominal (15 rupees per cup which is right price for the good quality and quantity. Beds were very spacious. Care taker was very friendly providing all the local details. He promptly sends messages through whatsapp which was really helpful. Overall very good experience. Just to mention one minor negative point. There is a lab-our welfare association property near to this property. On the day i went during evening it seems there was a meeting there and people have parked their bikes almost occupying 75% of street. This makes difficult to pass through our car in a already narrow lane. This is nothing wrong with property as such but a note of caution to other guest planning to stay here. Please speak to care taker for alternate route or one of the guest have to clear up bikes if you end up in same situation.

Hotel was located in a very residential location but walkable from bus stand. It was a very average kind of room. I felt like a little bit of privacy was invaded because they asked some personal questions about me and my partner. They have mentioned their property as couple friendly Sunflower Villa | Rooms & Caretaker so unnecessary questions could have been avoided during check in. And during checkout they made us wait and checked our room for any faults which i think was kind of rude. I mean did they think we were going to damage their property or steal any property belongings? and we could not sleep during night because of a pet dog in the nearby house it was barking during midnights. Otherwise it was okayish Sunflower Villa | Rooms & Caretaker very average. Lot of changes could be done in decor and ambience. Bathroom could have been better. Price could be less by 25% to 30% from what we paid. Overall experience was just average nothing special or great for the price we paid.

The most important thing we need to consider while on vacation is sleep. If the place we stay is not clean or if it does not feel safe, our whole vacation becomes a nightmare. In sunflower villa, you need not worry about cleanliness or safely. Area: it feels like home because it is located in residential area (a little congested because of the two wheelers parked on both sides) but we travel-led in a 7 seated suv and still did not find it an issue. Cleanliness: the room and bed linens are very clean. The bathroom is also very clean. Staff: bharathi is the owner of the property and he tries to help as much as possible. His hospitality is overwhelming. He even inquired if we had reached home after we left pondicherry. The other staffs were also very good and helpful. If you are travel-ling with family and children, you can stay here without a second thought.

I loved the stay and experience here at the sunflower villa, the caretaker, aunty and the owner were extremely sweet and helpf. I fell sick on the trip due to a heat stroke and they were so kind and caring then just like familwould. Hundred percent recommend the jasmine villa and stay here. Rooms are super cozy and spacious with chairs, table, wifi and we also reached early morning and the owner made arrangements to check in prior as well against a nominal charge, great service thankyou

We stayed at Sunflower Villa | Rooms & Caretaker sunflower villa for a night and it was very good. Rooms are well maintained and service to the room is quick with special mention to diwakar who was very sweet and helped us patiently and caretaker rani. The owner mr bharathiraj is very friendly who helped us in providing a room for quick fresh up as we requested for a early check in. Recommended for your stay in pondicherry as it is near to new bus stand with lot of eateries around too

We are 5 people and stayed one night here. Rooms are very big enough for 5. Even 6 to 8 people can stay as it is a family room with two bedrooms and a hall. Kitchen was closed. Rooms were very neat and clean. Washrooms were also very clean and hygienic. Staff members were very supportive during night time they helped us by providing necessary things. Up to two water bottles are free and after that they will cost 20 per bottle. Other than that all are good. Service is excellent.

Property could be located quite easily using go-ogle map. It was fairly accurate. Staff/caretakers were very humble and soft spoken. Even though it was difficult to communicate because of language barrier, they were very happy to accommodate our requests for tea etc. Hygiene was appropriately maintained.

It was a very good, pleasant and comfortable stay. Host and care taker were very humble and cooperative. We enjoyed our stay and it felt like home. Property is very well maintained, clean and spacious. All aminities were available and host arranged for home cooked food, cab for sightseeing etc.

Excellent place to stay even after locatkng near the bus stand and railway station it is clean and hygenic. Staff are friendly it is located in heart of city i would rate it as a superior homestay but the only problem was street dogs there are n number of dogs.

Proper parking space, easy access to all locations, decent amenities and good room, no bugs or insects. Good ambience, peaceful environment. No unwanted interruptions. Host was very well mannered and house keeping lady was very accommodating too. Overall it was super smooth stay

The host was a really good person and helpful. He already provided all the necessary information before check in. The top floor room was really good and got a lot of space. It had all the visiting places nearby.
