I travelled on oct'19 the homestay is just three months old, the rooms, furniture, bedsheet, curtains, bathroom everything is clean and next to new. The location is fantastic, 1 minute walking from the Aberdeen market. But positioned in a peaceful location. Its 10 minutes walking to the Cellular jail on the way you will get Rajiv Gandhi sporting complex (you will get boats for Ross Island and north bay from there) I walked around from this place and even auto is available from Aberdeen market main road. The owner Mr. Ramesh and his wife Nutan Maam, both are educated, soft-spoken and friendly. (later I came to know, they are very well known in Port Blair.) They came to meet me just like we do to any guest at our home, we had long discussions about Andaman, travelling experiences, etc. I had booked a semi-deluxe room without a direct view from the window, but the owner even offered me the best room for a better view without charging me. There are 6 rooms, all are spacious. 4 have a direct view of the Sea and Ross Island, 5th one has Side view and the only semi-deluxe doesn't have any view, but all have free access to the terrace. From there the view is just mind-blowing. I would request all the next visitors, just like when we visit Virgin beaches, we shouldn't litter them so is this homestay. The owners are yet not money minded and want the visitors to feel at home literally. Please dont litter their home and their minds with bad experiences. Let the other visitors enjoy the same hospitality and cleanliness. P.S. It is not a Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms but a homestay (with the benefits if a budget Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms) on the first floor Mr. Ramesh and his family stays. I would recommend it for families and Solo travellers especially women. As this place is super safe.

A memorable stay indeed. The place was very nice to stay as the property is very new and superbly clean. The owners are very helpful and had us picked up from the airport. The Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms was very clean and the rooms were superb. We had opted for the deluxe rooms and had a mesmerizing view of the Ross Island from the room which was exactly opposite to the Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms across the sea. The terrace had a wonderful viewing of the sunrise. The only downside is the unavailability of the lift given its a homestay. The service boy Jeet was very helping and good natured. Many of the tourist spots like cellular jail, water sports complex, Aquarium, Marina Park, Aberdeen Bazar were of walking distance from the Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms. The added cuteness was provided by Tyson, a loving German Shepherd. Overall a wonderful stay In Port Blair at this Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms and definitely worth recommending. Thumbs up.p.

Nice location and most of the important places near to Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms like bus stand, Rajiv Gandhi sports complex, Cellular Jail, jetty for Havelock, Neil Island and other islands (directorate of shipping). It is basically homely stay than commercial Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms. Rooms are very good. Top floor room have sea view with spacious space in front of rooms. Below floor, 4 rooms out of which 2 have sea face. For Port Blair and near around places visit, it is good Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms. Room service need to be improved. As there is no lift and rooms are at top (telephone intercom service should be there). Overall internet service is very bad in Port Blair compared with mainland, so WiFi is not that much have importance. Owner of this Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms are well educated and supporting, Mr. Ramesh sir and Ms. Nutan madam.

Had a great experience staying at sun ray homes in port blair. The view from the teracce and balcony is simply beautiful. Even more beautiful if you get to catch the sunrise in clear sky. The location is just 2 min walk from the main market. They have a short cut to the main market. Which saves 10 mins of walking to main market. Also we were greeted by a very c honky and furry germane shepherd named tyson during our stay. The dogs belongs to the neighbors but will be very friendly with all visitors. Make sure to ask for tyson during your stay. Overall. Highly recommended. Host ramesh will guide you on how to visit the famous tourist places with ease.

Sunray Homes is among the nicest homestays in Port Blair. It is a stone's throw away from Annapurna, the best cafe in Town, and Aberdeen cafe. It's a 20 min walk from all the other important locations cellular jail, and the Sea Side. My room was very clean and stocked with amenities (kettle, tea, coffee), and had the option of food delivery. The wifi is fairly stable. The owners are extremely kind and will help you out with directions/itinerary/anything else you need. Bonus there's a huge adorable german shepherd on the first floor named Tyson. Overall a very homely and pleasant stay I only stayed for one night but wished I'd stayed for more.

Right from welcoming to responding to the complimentary breakfast and the smooth late check-out, everything was so good about this place. The hosts (couple) were very welcoming and they made sure that we are comfortable during our entire stay there. The rooms were very clean and new and the sea view right outside our window was amazing. We could see the sunrise and roses island just outside our window and what else could we ask for. Would strongly recommend this homestay if someone's looking for an affordable homestay that's within the city limits. This place is very close to aberdeen bazaar too. Will definitely visit them again sometime. )

Mr. Ramesh Kumar and his family/team were super welcoming. They helped us plan our days in Port Blair and suggested local spots for us to visit. The property is in a prime location within walking distance of most things, but yet in a peaceful corner. The top floor balcony offers some of the best views you can ask for on a vacation, overlooking the ross island and the Netaji stadium. It was a perfect spot to share wholesome moments with your family during an early morning breakfast or a late Sun downer. If you're looking to enjoy the Island life on your vacation, then I would highly recommend that you stay at Sunray Homes.

We were able to stay for one night only at the end of our trip as on earlier days it was booked. Wish we could stay there for Long. Location and view is amazing. Ask for Sea facing room or on 4th floor where they have sitting arrangement on terrace too. Aberdeen bazaar, jetty for Ross Island is very near. All walk able but it's better to have Activa on rent, as we can roam around. They dun have kitchen but provide breakfast but can't before 7.30 am. Food at Milan rest and bakery products at Tillai Bakery is best ever we had. In budget Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms rooms with homestay feel. Recommended at top priority.

Good for family, can enjoy dinning in terrace having big space and nice view

The place is located in a quiet neighbourhood, close tor the Park and Aberdeen Bazaar. The view of the Netaji Stadium, Park, the waterfront and Ross Island is breath taking. You cab see the Indian Tricolour flying in the distance to. The sunray homes started receiving just last year and therefore almost all things in the room are quite new. The complimentary breakfast provided is filling and the helper (Subir) is very helpful. The day of my return journey, he arranged a breakfast of bread butter and jam, even at 6am. The owner of this homestay in the lower floors of the building.

The Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms just near by 200m from Celleluler jail and in same radius main market and nice historical costal area also. Must stay and book at the top floor.

Excellent property, neet and clean

Stay at Sun ray Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms is memorable. The location is perfect and Aberdeen jetty and cellular jail is at walking distance. Hotel is very clean and staff is very cooperative. Stayed here for one day as per schedule. Hope for stay again when visit to Aandn

Good value for money. Excellent view from terrace. Very near to all major watersports activity. Easy to visit cellular jail. Market place and most special walking distance where rtpcr report is available for further travel.

The Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms room was clean and well maintained. The furniture was very good. However the location is not that good as there is no proper way to reach there

Great hospitality, beautiful view from the terrace. Awesome connectivity to everything - flag point, marina bay. The owner connected us to a really friendly driver - mr mominder. He showed us around and would even take multiple trips or wait on us if needed. Overall, all the positive reviews of sunray homes do justice. Big rooms, clean bathrooms. Fresh new sheets and prompt service. We were a group of 7 people and we were quite happy withbour stay.

Location is very good, close to Aberdeen Beach from where one can go to Ross and North Bay Island. At stay too, floor room was excellent with beautiful view of Sea. Ground floor room was not up to the mark.

Nice stay in the vicinity in many places. Aberdeen Bazaar, jetty, cellular jail, etc. Breakfast excellent. Rate worth. Clean and tidy rooms.

View from room is very good. Good terrace to hangout. But service is average don't expect Sunray Homes | Sea View Rooms like service and breakfast
