The stay at sunrise resort in Sam sand dunes was very comfortable and memorable. It was a hassle free check-in and we were given paid taxi services for pick up and drop from airport and also paid Camel and jeep ride from the resort side.. Then free night activities like cultural dance and singing programs and then to top it all unlimited Buffet at night and breakfast buffet the next day morning. Overall it was a great experience will be coming back here again pretty soon.

First of all it is not at all a 4star property.Bathroom was very untidy .Food served was very basic in unhygenic condition.Artist who performed were also not great.We went to enjoy cultural prog and dinner at another resort ...so you can understand how bad it was.I won’t recommend this place at all

Cultural programs well organised. In short very good stay. We stayed for 3 nights. Was a great experience. Amit and family

Our overall stay was really nice. Starting from breakfast, buffet dinner, evening snacks with cultural events and DJ night everything was a nice experience. Perfect place to stay for a day. Best recommended place from my side. Also we had safari ride too.

Pathetic Stay.

This is nothing like a 4 star stay as mentioned. I was given room 101, room’s bathroom was leaking from everywhere, toilet seat was dirty and not fixed. Room had lots of mosquitoes a and no extra fan was provided. They didn’t even provide us towels even after asking multiple times, staff was polite but ignorant. After 2 night stay and after multiple complaints they gave us another room which was well cleaned and was in good condition.

Title: Worst Experience Ever I had booked rooms at Sun Rise Resort, Sam Sand Dunes, Jaisalmer at higher rates expecting a comfortable and premium stay. However, upon arrival, the resort owner and staff Instead of giving us rooms in Sun Rise Resort, they shifted us to the adjacent Khamma Ghani Resort, which is a different property altogether with much lower standards. The rooms allotted were not the same as booked — we had booked air-conditioned rooms, but they gave us rooms with just coolers. The rooms and bathrooms lacked even basic amenities. The food and breakfast provided were of extremely poor quality. We also booked a jeep safari ride through the resort staff. They showed us a catalog promising to cover three different desert spots, but the driver only took us to one and claimed that all three had been covered. The safari charges were also much higher than the market rate — almost double or triple. The resort management and staff are highly unprofessional and dishonest. I strongly advise everyone not to book this resort .

recently stayed at a beautiful resort nestled in the heart of the Thar Desert, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location itself is magical — endless golden dunes, peaceful sunsets, and a sky full of stars at night. 🌌 The resort perfectly blends Rajasthani tradition with modern comfort. The rooms were designed in a rustic desert style but had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were warm, hospitable, and always ready to help with a smile.

Stay was fine but as stated by MMT there was a free fruit tray that was to be sent to our room and I showed the MMT voucher to the reception staff and requested them more than thrice to send the fruit tray to our room but nobody did that. So 1-2 instances like this happened there.
