Sunset Cafe's Beach Cottage Gokarna

Food was amazing at their restaurant. Sohail who served us gave excellent recommendations and ensured we had a lovely meal and experience. Taste is the best in Gokarna. The resort is also in a prime location on the middle beach. They have sea facing rooms and Garden rooms as well. The staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Overall, we had an amazing stay here and will recommend this to everyone who is visiting Gokarna.

Good vibes good food beach front

It was a nice experience staying at sunset cafe including the stay, food and location. The rooms were neat and tidy. The staff was polite. There was a minor issue related to frequent power cuts because if which the wifi connection gets interrupted So if you have to be in the cafe if you are working. Otherwise it was a really nice experience.

Perfect location with beach view

The stay was really good , AC room facing farm , while the cafe is situated opening to the beach . Food is really worthy mentioning . Just that they were rigid with the timings because of bookings maybe , except that everything was good .

The hosts were super helpful and provided great service. The food was also great. There just needs to be a convenient and easy to access route to get to the stay as the only way was through the beach and it was super inconvenient.

Staff were very good and well spoken. Good food with nice music and sea side stay was relaxing refreshing and enjoyable.

The stay at Sunset cafe was disappointing due to several issues: * High Cost, Low Value: The room rate of around 6k per night did not justify the lack of basic amenities like room service. * Subpar Room Conditions: The washroom and room lighting were not up to the expected standard. * Unhygienic Dining: The restaurant's poor hygiene, with visible insects, significantly detracted from the dining experience. * Unprofessional Staff: The restaurant staff's casual and disrespectful demeanor was inappropriate for a hospitality establishment. Overall, the hotel's focus seems to be on maximizing profits rather than providing quality service.

the bathroom was was stinky and the tap was leaking,there was no space to keep our stuff,towels and bedsheets were not clean ,the food was amazing ,the service was good,service from Rupak was excellent

property description is not mentioned clearly 1.accessibly issue, have to carry our own languages almost 300-400 mtrs all the way through rough beach sand 2. poor network connectivity, no wifi proper wifi setup at property 3. ⁠ rooms are below average and overpriced, basic animities like side tablle, miror, cupboard are not there in the room 4. ⁠house keeping service is also poor, they kept our keys for house keeping service, but they didn’t clean 5. ⁠food price is too much almost double price.

I loved the ambience, delicious food, the vibe and the lovely staff! enjoyed my stay with a fantastic location, just a few steps from the cafe to the pristine beach. Shout out to sandy for being a great host and ensuring i was comfortable! highly recommend this cafe when in gokarna! keep up the great job!

Sunset cafe team delivers a cozy + friendly vibe with top-notch hospitality you won't get anywhere else in any gokarna stay. Roopa was our favorite with his best food recommendation. They make you feel like staying for as long as possible. Service+vibe+hospitality = 100/10!

the stay here is exceptional, with outstanding service. the highlight is having access to top-quality food right at their café. plus, the beach is just a few steps away. this place provides a complete experience, offering everything you could want from a trip.

it was very good stay view was really good but only problem was to reach the hotel we had to go from the beach to reach hotel which will be difficult in monsoon season

The stay was just too cozy and comfortable. The food was very delicious. Every item on their menu is so tasty. Please do try their pizza’s. They make their pizza dough in-house. Beach facing property.

Was a wonderful experience, although the beach was pretty dirty and rough the cafe was a nice vibe and we enjoyed our stay there.
