Swosti Chilika Resort

Nice property. Quite far from the city. However amenities appear overpriced. Boat service to kalijai available but priced exorbitantly. You can hire motorboats from the village close by at reasonable rates. Game room experience was nice. Try your hand at archery. Check for grease smears before using the cycles though. Rambha is a nice place to explore nearby. First go to bates-war beach( olive ridley turtles) and while returning go to rhambha chilika lake view point. You can hire a speedboat from the otdc panthnivas there and take a soothing ride on the lake. Food at panthnivas is also good. For those who would like to skip the expensive lunch n dinner at swosti, there's a nice restaurant close by by the name of prasad restaurant. However the breakfast at swosti was simply terrific. Extremely courteous staff at the orana restaurant as well as the multi cuisine spread will not only tickle your tastebuds but also your heart. Swimming pool is also lovely so please dont forget to carry your swim suits. Evenings become a bit boring and the resort should provide some entertainment programmes. However the only sour taste was the revelation that the resort was providing the accomodation at a significantly lower price than the deal we got with make my trip. All in all a nice experience with a special thanks to the staff at the restaurant.

Overall a descent place with favorable environment of the surrounding, good hospitality, staff behavior and fantabulous buffet breakfast arrangements. But which i would like to mention that i along with my wife booked the sunset cruise including the high tea on the cruise for roaming around the lake and enjoy the sunset on lake. It was very much comfortable at a price of rs/750 per person but after getting in immediately after the start the steering wheel got technical issues and got struck nearly 700 mtrs away from the jetty. Their capable staffs immediately arranged two pvt boats to shift the in boarders to reach the jetty safely. But it spoiled our visit. Regularly maintainance should be done. I also saw the jet ski, the speed boats are lying just like scraps. It can't be expected from a luxurious resort. Rooms: 5* housekeeping:5* in room dining: 4* swimming pool: 5* restaurant:5* golf cart : defunct water sports activity : didn't find at all

The resort is really pretty, and well maintained. Rooms are great, Ambience is wonderful, food is awesome (especially their sea food, totally worth!) Me and my family loved it here. The trip was very relaxing, It had every possible thing that you will need to relax and calm. Wellness centre, spa, swimming pool, gaming zone, cycling, gym, and the best part is that everything is well maintained. Overall a must visit place!! ❤️ You can also visit chillka lake and do boating and cruise here. We are definitely coming back for it. The staff is polite, attentive and very helping. The room service/ house keeping is great. And we were also treated wonderfully well by the GM of the resort, Mr. Pramod Tiwari. Amazing hospitality and helping in nature. Totally gonna recommend others!

The resort is an excellent one. They can maybe arrange for railway station pickup and drop at reasonable prices. The food is great. There is a lot of greenery amid-st open areas, gardens and parks. The recreation/play area is very functional too - it has a tt table with bats and a ball, billiards and snooker tables, chess and carrom - best part is - all of these have the required equipment for a good experience. The food is nice. Staff is extremely courteous, smiling and polite. The swimming pool is excellent too. It has the chilika waters on two sides making some amazing views and boat rides.

It was a very pleasant stay. I love the location, service, food especially the hospitality of the staffs. My husband and i went to there for celebrating our first wedding anniversary. They arranged a candle light dinner for us with pool side view immediately even though i asked for it just a day before our arrival. Two or three staffs continuously attended us there and in the next day during breakfast and lunch they also served the food in the restaurant. All the staffs have sweet gesture for all the guests. I like everything about this resort. We will definitely visit again and again.

experience with restaurant was quite good. Varieties of breakfast with a team of polite staffs with a great hospitality. The swimming pool is quite family friendly. There was only one bicycle available. They can increase the no of bicycles. Similarly, there are 2 electric vehicles for easy transfer . Even during under capacity utilization, the number is less . They may increase the no of electric vehicles. The resort is beautiful . Buffet and other meals are tasty but relatively expensive compared to it's competitors. Stay was of course fine for us. Quite children friendly resort.

When we arrived one hour early, welcome drink was served and they have arranged a room one hour early i. E. Check-in at 1. Pm. Staff was polite and very co-operative. We enjoyed swimming pool, evening sunset cruise on paid basis by swastik and we were lucky to see the four dolphins swimming many times in the chilika lake played indoor games. Breakfast was excellent. Lunch and dinner was good but service was little delayed and it is little expensive. Overall excellent experience and one must visit.

The stay was awesome. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The property is very large and beautiful. Also the spa facility is available at the property. We stayed at mid-lake county which had very spacious rooms. You can also avail game zone and swimming pool at the property. Food was excellent and the chill i crab is a must try. But the cost of drinks was pretty high in my opinion. We would definitely be visiting this place once again in the near future.

I just loved the property and it's greenery. Food and services are also good. The ambiance is also eye-catching.

Location wise excellent, but it’s need to put more lights on night. Rooms are sweating except that all good staff behaviour was excellent and helpful.

A bit costly but a wonderful property, good ambience and service. The swimming pool is excellent. The approach to the chilika lake is good and near to the resort.

A plant rich property each room is well ventilated and have proper ac units and furniture external and internal both areas quality is highly maintained food is good and pool area is also good any one can plan to stay but away from main city so travel is costly. And time taking all well

Swosti chilika has always been one of my favorite properties to visit. I love cycling, swimming and watching the sunset here. The staffs are very kind and helpful. Everything was perfect during our stay! the only thing i didn’t like was that they were out of paneer so as a vegetarian i had to order other dishes which i did not prefer.

I went there with my family and booked two rooms. I must say the stay, the food, the ambience, the staff are all very well behaved and top notch. The dining staff are a group of very well behaved people.

It was a nice stay. Good atmosphere. Room service is good staff behavior really good. Clean and calm atmosphere. Highly recommended

Property should be more properly maintained… faulty equipments should be replaced.. more food option can be made avialbale…
