Dear sir / madam i would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional experience i had during my stay at your Taj Bengal, Kolkata from may 1st to may 3rd. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the outstanding service provided by your staff, made me feel like i was coming home. I would like to extend a special appreciation to mr. Sanjib ghosh, who greeted me with open arms upon my arrival. His personal attention and escort to my room, where he introduced me to all the features and shared a brief history of the Taj Bengal, Kolkata, truly made me feel valued as a guest. Mr. Sanjib's warmth and pleasing nature were a delight, and he went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. I was pleasantly surprised when mr. Sanjib presented me with a beautiful cake and flowers, as it happened to be my special day. The housekeeping staff also added a festive touch to my room with balloons, creating a joyful ambiance. I must commend chef saikat for his exceptional dessert platter, which catered to my weakness for sweets. The culinary experience was truly amazing. During my checkout, the staff, especially mr. Manju shah, displayed great kindness and ensured that i was comfortably settled in my taxi before bidding me farewell. Their genuine care and attention to detail left a lasting impression on me. I would like to extend my gratitude to the entire staff of taj bengal for their dedication and commitment to providing an unforgettable experience. Taj bengal is located in the heart of kolkata's alipore neighbourhood and is at the walking distance from the significant landmarks such the victoria memorial, royal calcutta race course, and ed-en gardens. The city's commercial centre is just three kilometres away. The Taj Bengal, Kolkata room was spacious the food was great. The Taj Bengal, Kolkata also offered complimentary internet and a fitness centre equipped with a gym and workout room. However, the swimming pool was undergoing renovation during my visit. What makes stand out of the league is its exceptional service. The staff and particularly the front desk officer ms. Chhahat was very polite and courteous. Her welcoming smile set the tone for a great stay. In nutshell, taj bengal is highly recommended for both business and leisure travellers.

I would recommend every person reading this review...No Second Choice...Stay at Taj and u will have awesome experience and most pleasant stay . This time I am thankful to Ms Ananaya at reception whose nice welcome and nice behaviour was impressive. She upgraded the room and arranged good swimming experience and comfortable checkout ....She was outstanding. At CAL 27 Mr Vijay was excellent 👌. He was so coperative and well mannered . The lunch was awesome 👍. Everytime I visit Taj I notice an remarkable improvement in hospitality. Most importantly the way of showing respect to guests by each and every staff was really giving me happiness...I was really impressed 👍. I highly appreciate the behaviour of all Staff of Taj and would like to visit again and again.

I went to spent my 80th birthday at taj bengal with my two grand son. During check in mr arjun in reception upgraded my room to a executive deluxe suite, after hearing its my 80th birthday. Later he came with a chocolate cake and bunch of roses. He also decorated my room with flowers, to make me feel special. In the evening he shared me a card with a image of the flower bouquet shared to me by mr arjun. Thanks mr. Arjun and his team for all the wonderful gesture, arrangements gifts to make my 80th birthday such a memorable occasion. I will cherish it through out my life.

We went there to celebrate our 9th anniversary and i informed them about it. To our surprise they decorated the room with balloons and got us a beautiful big cake to celebrate. Their concierge mr. Sanjib personally came to give a rose bouquet to both of us and also clicked a pic. He was so gentle and kind and also surprised us by giving a thank you card with our photo in it. Their pool and steam bath was just relaxing with temperature control. My daughter also enjoyed the kids pool. My suggestion will be that they can have a small kids area as well.

Taj is close to our hearts as it's a place we have been visiting since v were toddlers. Re-visiting the place after 20yrs brought back many memories. Ate at sonar bangla, where right from the restaurant manager, mr. Sarfaraz to the head chef did an amazing job to serve fantastic food. Chandna at in house spa was very warm and great at her job. The house keeping staff mr. Ranjan was also very humble and efficient. In all v had an amazing stay except for the beginning where we had to wait for one and half hour for our rooms.

The room was very classy and e co friendly with all the facilities to fulfill needs. The food served there was delicious. All the staffs were very polite and eager to help wherever required. Management at this Taj Bengal, Kolkata ensured that the stay was pleasant and comfortable, they also celebrated my stay with parting gifts and cake cutting ceremony. I had a very comfortable and pleasant experience at taj bengal, kolkata and would surely love to visit again. A big thank you to all the staff out there ! you rock !

Property is beautiful. Rooms are good, although i expected them to be slightly bigger, pool side is beautiful, staff is very well mannered and helpful and food is good but it depends on the restaurant and your preferences as well

It was a lovely stay and the service was really good. Enjoyed a lot. Ambience is also very great and the room was clean. It really lives upto it’s name

one of the most beautiful and luxurious experiences that needs to be experienced..a pleasant welcome to the property along with the surprise birthday celebration arrangement which was handled at its best and on top of that in a timely manner to add up ..room , service , food everything seemed to be perfect ...waiting to experience it again and again ...thanks TAJ and all the courteous staff ofcourse without them it would not have been so perfect stay!!!

Had a wonderful stay at the taj bangla property. The food, room, the customer service were very excellent.

I had injured my hip while travelling. Jennifer from guest services send me a hot water bottle and spoke very kindly, asked whether i needed anything else. Tanmoy biswas at the front desk is helpful and efficient. Housekeeping staff are very good.

You can't go wrong with the taj. The ambience, the room, the staff, the food. Everything was otherworldly.

Excellent reception at the time of check-in and ultimate farewell. During stay staff was very supportive and food was as per choice.
