We had an amazing time at this chique new Taj City Centre New Town, Kolkata by IHCL, which is their second Taj City Centre New Town, Kolkata under the brand of Taj Hotels in Kolkata. Our room on the 8th floor had an amazing view of the city. Also we had a view of the NSCBI airport and flights taking off from it. It was a treat for the flight enthusiast in me. The bed was comfortable and the room had all necessary amenities. However, the highlight of the Taj City Centre New Town, Kolkata for me was the swimming pool. The infinity pool with its crystal clear blue water was simply mesmerizing. Watching flights take off while swimming in the temperature controlled water was the best part of my stay. The breakfast spread was quite good especially the bakery items. And lastly, the Belgian Witbier in their newly opened beer garden Wykiki deserves a special mention. I really enjoyed my time there with a glass of this cold in-house brewed beer.

Property is serene! very beautiful. The infinity pool view is mesmerising. Since it is adjacent to the mall, you will have good food and shopping options. But the best part about the property is the staff. Super super helpful and friendly. I fell extremely sick during the night and none of the pharmacies were delivering due to heavy rains. Sneha, in particular, made sure i get all the meds, that too without any additional charges. The next day i was even able to get a slightly late checkout (without extra charges. Taj does know how to prioritise customer well being. Must consider for your next business stay and even leisure travel.

Special thanks to duty manager harash, restaurant manager also (forgot the name, room service boy khursheed and swimming instructor sourish. Room is good as expected with all amenities. Bathroom toiletries more depend on traditional dwsi and ayurvedic philosophy. Enjoyed swimming and tasteful breakfast. An excellent stay.
