Taj Dal View, Srinagar

A beautiful resort overlooking the dal lake with the taj hospitality at its best. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you step into the resort. The staff is attentive to your every need and goes out of their way to make sure your comfortable. Was happy to see a familiar face in ujjwal whom i had met earlier at the taj in bangalore. He made sure we were comfortable and was kind enough to show us the resort. The staff at the restaurant keeps checking on you so you feel at home. . Special mention for ishfaq, alamgeer, nayeem, davindar and team the property has stunning views and all rooms face the beautiful dal lake. The location for sure won't disappoint you and the hospitality that comes with the taj experience is the icing on the cake

Excellent location, great view of the hills and the Dal Lake. Ideal for family vacation. On the downside, inconsistent room services like keeping the fruit bowl on one day and not on all days, not replacing soaps and toiletries everyday, not keeping adequate water bottles until reminded ... Placing tea maker at the bottom drawer making it inconvinient for elderly parents or frequent power cuts that stops water in the loo for 4-5 minutes. And last: Staff constantly telling us that December is a bad month to visit ... Why tell the guests that they have done a mistake by coming at the particular time of the year they have missed out on a number of things ...

During my Taj Dal View, Srinagar room booking I had not seen any plan for morning breakfast inclusive that made me feel that is inclusive as it is general. During my check-in we were told that it is not inclusive and they do have Breakfast inclusive package available as well. Not sure why make my trip is not showing it. It would be great if that is shown while booking itself and it helps users to understand and decide according to their requirements. Pool availability is also not specified during booking.

In my opinion, the Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Mountains are the essence of Srinagar. Hotel is wonderfully located on top of a little hill and lies in the lap of the Zabarwan mountains with unrestricted views of the massive Dal Lake. The swimming pool is another highlight of the Hotel. Though its in the open, its temperature controlled. Its designed as an infinity pool in sync with the Dal Lake. Rooms and bathroom is lavish. Food is great. Staff service is impeccable.

We travel-led as a couple to celebrate our first anniversary. Umar from the front office helped in providing us a lovely room with the most stunning views of dal. In room dining and housekeeping staff went above and beyond to fulfill all our whims for an unforgettable dinner and experience. Travel within srinagar was also arranged on request and the drivers provided were also amazing with suggestions and knowledge about local delicacies. Must must visit.

The newer rooms, views of the Dal lake, unparalleled Taj hospitality and their amenities all make it a good property to stay in Srinagar. The breakfast is good but the service or quality of dinner served needs improvement.

Vivanta, dal view was probably the best thing about our trip to kashmir. Everything about the property is top-notch. The check-in was smooth and we were given a complimentary room upgrade as well. Everyone seemed super friendly and nice. The view from the property is lovely and the rooms are large and luxurious. The food is really good too. Loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone going to srinagar.

Great property and excellent services. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay there. Great and trained staff members, have to mention about payal and amir from the restaurant service team. Amazing view of dal lake from this property. We were greeted with kehwa, authentic kashmir tea, at all times. We enjoyed our stay and must visit for all family members travel-ling for relaxed holidays.

Beautiful place to stick to if visiting kashmir for a short period. Hotel comes with various value additions and great hospitality. Go there and See for yourself

Best thing about Taj Vivanta Dal Lake Srinagar is location, location, location. Great View of Dal Lake and the sunset. Rooms are spacious, the gardens are great, and staff is courteous.

One of the finest Taj Dal View, Srinagars I have stayed in. Often things are so perfect that you try and look for faults. I could not fault this Taj Dal View, Srinagar in anyway Too good. The staff, the ambience, the rooms, everything was just perfect. I would like to specifically mention Aameir, Mudassar, Jagdev and so many others who made our stay heavenly.

Enjoyed their suite. They could have given a room with a better view. Staff and restaurant manager in particular were very nice and accommodating.

Rooms are also very comfortable,staff is very polite & helping nature ,surrounding garden is very well maintained , restaurants are very good & food quality is good however quantity is slightly more, over all experience is very good 👍
