Our stay at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace was a mixed experience. Some members of the staff went out of their way to be courteous and helpful while others were least concerned. The hotel delivers well on certain fronts—particularly in terms of scenic views, accommodation quality and food. However, inconsistencies in service, especially at the front desk and in family-oriented support, soured our overall experience.

Location: Excellent location with easy access to the city's attractions. Staff: Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff who provided great service. Rooms: Clean, spacious, stylish, and comfortable rooms. Food & Value: Delicious and reasonably priced food, with good value for money. Amenities: complimentary fruit, coffee, and a good breakfast buffet.

The pool had green all green algae on all the walls . Very poor sanitation . The changing room shower was broken . The steam room didn’t work . The locker was faulty . So there were a few glitches but the room and bathroom were good .

Excellent booking arrangements. Yah Fateh Prakash hotel at Udaipur has fantastic hospitality . Very good food.

The property is really pretty, staff is very polite, helpful and kind. I loved everything about the stay, would definitely recommend and would love to visit again. Taj hospitality never disappoints

stayed at Taj Fateh Prakash from 12th to 15th and the experience was outstanding. The location has breathtaking views of Lake Pichola and the City Palace which made every moment special. The heritage architecture is beautifully preserved and the interiors reflect the grandeur of royal Rajasthan. The food was excellent, especially the traditional Rajasthani dishes, served with great care and presentation. Amenities were of the highest standard and the housekeeping was seamless. The staff was warm, attentive and genuinely made the stay memorable. This was a perfect blend of luxury, history and heartfelt hospitality.

I had a pleasant experience there. Everything was UPTO the mark. Felt like a princess over there. Would love to visit again

Property is just amazing. It’s by the lake with awesome views from everywhere. We got upgraded to Luxury Suite, thanks to Taj for that. Hospitality that you get here is so Royal. I can’t even think of a single negative part from experience. All was excellent.

We recently stayed at Taj Fateh prakash palace Udaipur and were left extremely disappointed — and honestly saddened — by the experience (given our previous taj experience, and the pride associated with it being an indian brand). While the location and view are absolutely stunning, the service and hygiene were shockingly below Taj standards. The biggest concern: bed bugs in the room. My wife and our 1-year-old baby were both bitten. This is completely unacceptable at any hotel, let alone one carrying the Taj name. We expected comfort, not health hazards. Room no. 506. Moreover, the staff service was well below the usually impeccable Taj experience. There was a noticeable lack of attentiveness and professionalism, which added to our frustration. The pool side restaurant and bar staff specially. The breakfast staff also disappointed us many times, and sometimes pleasantly surprised us (gave all child food for free, also complimented us with some free breakfast, which we truly appreciate). However, I re-emphasise this is TAJ. We’ve always trusted the Taj brand for luxury and care — this experience has really shaken that trust. We hope the management takes this seriously and ensures no other family goes through what we did.

I felt like a princess staying in the palace compound! Everything was beautiful and the staff was welcoming and attentive.
