Taj Gandhinagar Resort and Spa

i recently stayed at this property and, while it carries the prestigious taj brand, my experience was mixed. the Taj Gandhinagar Resort and Spa received a five-star rating largely due to its brand name rather than the overall experience. the service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly courteous, maintaining the high standards expected from a taj property. however, the Taj Gandhinagar Resort and Spa itself felt much smaller compared to other taj properties i have visited. this was particularly noticeable in the breakfast buffet, which had a very limited spread. not only was the selection underwhelming, but the quality of the food also seemed subpar, which was disappointing for a luxury Taj Gandhinagar Resort and Spa. the rooms, on the other hand, were spacious and comfortable. we were fortunate to receive an upgrade from a deluxe room to a luxury room, which was a pleasant surprise. however, despite the upgrade, the rooms showed clear signs of aging. the wooden flooring had visible cracks, and at one point during the night, i nearly tripped over as the lights were off. another downside was the Taj Gandhinagar Resort and Spa's location. it is quite far from gandhinagar city, making it less convenient for travelers looking to explore the area. overall, while the service and staff were commendable, the property itself did not live up to the expectations set by the taj brand. the limited amenities, aging rooms, and steep pricing left me feeling that this Taj Gandhinagar Resort and Spa was not the best value for money.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at taj gandhinagar for a one-night getaway, and it was overall a very enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The check-in process was smooth, and we were quickly escorted to our room, which was very spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The resort's amenities were impressive, and even though we were only there for a short time, we made the most of what was available. Its spa exceeded expectations. One of the highlights was their willingness to accept all requests and late check out at 2 pm, which really added to the charm of the place. Pradeep in their restaurant was very helpful and made sure we have an amazing jain breakfast. Resort is not huge or luxurious, but taj gandhinagar is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a quick and relaxing retreat near ahmedabad. Opt for a room with a bath tub.

The location is a bit off as there is nothing around but the property takes care of that.. Excellent options for activities especially for toddlers, kids and the youth.. a badminton and squash court with almost all indoor activities like tt, carrom, pool, play station, air hockey etc.. they offer cycle rides camel rides and more.. folk musical 🌆.. AMAZING FOOD !! Must try is Vietnamese Pho soup, malfati, noodles and paneer tikka.. We had a bit of snap at front desk attendant but the manager at duty Ashish and Mayuri made sure we have a comfortable stay.. Geeta and team at Pallete cafe provided great service. SPA was phenomenal and lived upto their standards

the stay was amazing the staff was really friendly i went their for my fiancés birthday and they helped me decorate the room and gifted us a cake platter, we really wanted to just have a staycation and relax for a day and that’s exactly what we got to do, we also got a couples massage and the service was good but the staff doing the massage was a bit rude.

The way they treat their guest is awesome,it's uncomfortable than any other Taj Gandhinagar Resort and Spa, specially the authentic indian tradition followed for welcome and exit, staff is very much supportive and ready to help for anything at any level ,they call me prior than my checkin which is missing in many other 5 stars
