Taj Gorbandh Palace, Jaisalmer

Property is very beautiful and peaceful. Nearer to major tourist places in Jaisalmer. Staff is super cooperative and provide excellent service.

I would say that i have stayed in a lot of Taj hotels but i felt that Tajness was missing in Jaisalmer. There was no welcome and we had to ask for the welcome drink. Food was very average and not at par with other Tajs. Services were ok like sauna and steam but ladies sauna, jacuzzi and steam had some issue and we had to literally scold a staff regarding the issues we faced to get it working. I had stayed in Suryagarh for a couple of days before going to Taj and the was just no comparison between them and Suryagarh is much much better than Taj. From next time i will spend some extra and stay in Suryagarh in Jaisalmer. Taj really need to up their standards in Jaisalmer.

Absolutely loved my stay here at Taj Gorbandh Palace! The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome, the rooms were cozy and spotless, and the food was delightful. Everything about this place made the experience special, I left with beautiful memories and would love to come back again.

Rooms are small. But no one can match the cleanliness and hospitality of Taj. Great dinner and breakfast spread. Swimming pool with Jacuzzi.

We had a very comfortable stay at Gorbandh palace. However, our experience was marred by two issues. Firstly, the valet service was not available, which was inconvenient. Secondly, and more annoyingly, our car was spoiled with greasy substances while parked. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they attributed it to a nearby tree. Overall, while the hotel's amenities and service were good, the parking experience fell short of expectations.

Taj Gorbandh Palace beautifully blends heritage and comfort. Spacious rooms, warm staff, great food & cultural evenings make it a perfect stay in the Golden City. Truly memorable!

More importantly, the taste was consistently superb – a true culinary delight for all three days, special Thanks to the chef. We savored every meal at the restaurant, also thanks to servers for always serving with smile. The staff throughout the hotel deserves immense credit. Every single member we interacted with was incredibly courteous, friendly, and attentive, making our stay truly memorable. I would like to give special thanks to the manager — their genuine warmth and hospitality made us feel especially welcome and valued. The hotel boasts the best of amenities, all meticulously maintained. The swimming pool was impeccably clean, a refreshing oasis after a day of sightseeing. Service was consistently good and quick, whether it was for in-room dining or any other request. I was staying at the hotel to celebrate my birthday, and to my delight, the room was beautifully decorated for the occasion. A complimentary cake was even arranged in the lobby area, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. These personal touches truly elevated the entire experience. The place is extremely hospitable. Staff is nice and the place is awesome. The beauty of the palace is mesmerising. There is a tata charging station in the premises for the ev owners like me. The only thing that i had an issue with is that the buffet had really limited options in continental non-veg and my daughter hardly ate anything which is really something as she is very fond of the food in other taj properties
