Taj Guras Kutir Resort and Spa Gangtok

Our stay at Taj Guras Kutir Resort & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. The view of the majestic Kanchenjunga right from our room was absolutely mesmerizing and worth every moment. The hospitality and courtesy of the staff were top-notch – every interaction felt warm, genuine, and caring, making us feel at home. The food experience was delightful, from a lavish breakfast spread to high-tea and dinner, everything was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The room ambience was brilliant, beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The only con is that the resort is located far from the city. Once you’re back at the property, you can’t really step out for a walk or visit MG Marg without hiring a taxi. However, this is also what makes the location special – the altitude offers breathtaking 360° views all around, making it a true retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Overall, Taj Guras Kutir is a perfect getaway for anyone looking for luxury, peace, and unmatched views in Gangtok. We left with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return!

The property location though a bit further than the city is absolutely what one desires .. away from hustle bustle and in a peaceful, calm environment amidst nature. The views are breathtaking and a delight to wake up to. Staff ia courtowus and warm while the Hospitality is top notch. Live musicians playing instruments such as the Suitar while you have a well spread breakfast was a good start to our day. Property is well kept and we had fun exploring the services including the viewing deck, spa and the game room. Staff helped us plan our day and made recommendations which was very helpful. A loud shout out to Bidhya, Arun and Aditya for making our stay comfortable. And kudos to Anil for managing the Taj Guras Kutir Resort and Spa Gangtok so well and a delightful experience.

Location was a bit secluded from the city. If you do not have own transportation, there is no way you will be able to step out without the Taj Guras Kutir Resort and Spa Gangtok's expensive cabs. the resort of quite spacious, serene, and has all bells and whistles of a premium place. unless weather is good, there is no point of mountain view rooms as it's only fog you will see and not mountains. I suspect it will be only fog view for better part of the year, barring some occasional good days. the staff is trained to ask the right questions for small talk. the buffet gets repetitive. most fried items are very oily. the coffee table book collection at the bar is excellent.

We had a 3 night stay in Taj Guras. The service is exceptionally good. The staff is extremely courteous and polite. The tasty food prepared by chef Akash will remain on our taste buds forever. Special thanks to Sumita, JayPrakash and Priyanka for decorating our room and arranging sweet surprise gifts. The service is top notch. Shreyasi’s heartwarming welcome will stay in my heart forever. Great ambience and yeah the view of snow clad mighty Kanchenjunga is just breathtaking. What else can I say…… Wahh Taj !!

Great Taj Guras Kutir Resort and Spa Gangtok of ihcl. Located bit far from the main city but due to that you will get the view clear mountains from even Taj Guras Kutir Resort and Spa Gangtok room. Ample good quality amenities. Tea sachet provided in rooms are of very good quality. Chef prepared the required food for my old aged parents without any hesitation and all the times. Mr. Durga from gurus kurtis was always there to help us for proper guidance as well as garden tour.

I m falling short of words to describe my stay at taj. The stay was as it is expected from taj. Such mesmerizing views from the room. The staff was very polite and were always on their toes to help us in every possible way. The food at machan was just like home cooked food. The sushi at japanese restaurant is worth giving a try. Overall it was divine staying here. Going back with bag full of memories.

Our stay at Taj was worth remembering as this beautiful place had completed jn a way our one page to cherish down our memory lane. Be it escorting at reception, hospitality during our stay in the suites, having delicacies at Machan or checking out with condiments. Everything was on tip and upto mark.

The experience is breathtaking will the unrealistic view of valley and ranges nearby. Mt Kanchenjunga view sets as an icing on the cake
