Taj Hari Mahal, Jodhpur

Palatial experience at the Taj Harimahal Jodhpur. I would rate this experience at the Taj a tad below par compared to other properties of Taj. The staff are not so energetic and are always wanting recognition by mentioning their names on the review - that desperation was a little annoying for me as I didn’t see that kind of attitude elsewhere. The rooms are big and spacious. The floor is covered by carpet- this is a difficult prop to maintain as I could smell the dust in the room once I switch on the fan or leave the AC on for a long time. That moisture from AC complicates an unclean carpet and the walls. Coming to food - Indian food is good but the Chinese definitely needs a revamp - no Chinese dish was upto the mark whichever was ordered. The swimming pool amenities are good - but there are broken tiles inside the pool which poses risk to the kids. Jaisalmer Taj Gorbandh Palace is far better than this one on the ambience, staff, food and facilities. Bottomline - this Taj requires a revamp and not worth the money you spend on the stay and food.

We had a wonderful stay at Taj Hari Mahal, Jodhpur for three nights. The hospitality and warmth we experienced throughout our visit made it truly memorable. The meals were exceptional, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors and fine presentation, and we are grateful to the chefs and the team for ensuring every detail was taken care of. A special mention to Chef Ranjeet and Chef Laxman for crafting such delightful dining experiences for us. We would also like to sincerely appreciate Vikram Lokendra, Surender Anand, Laxman Singh, and Dheeraj, whose professionalism, attentiveness, and kindness made us feel so well cared for. Their efforts added a personal touch that elevated our stay. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we look forward to visiting again.

Very nice hotel ,vibes were also good ,swimming pool to rooms and restaurents were very nice , very polite staff overall the stay was excellent but feels like it is very old infra need some modification in interior

I left my GABIT smart ring in the room I asked the staff on the Taj official contact the person never returned by any feedback they got my ring or not

The property is great - well maintained common areas and pool , the rooms are spacious. The staff is helpful, breakfast buffet had good options. It is a little removed from the main tourist area around clock tower but commute time is short

Breakfast quality was not as per Taj standard

Location is great. In the city but insulated from the hustle and bustle of the city. The food was good and the staff were very polite and courteous

The hospitality provided by Pawan during my stay was truly marvellous. He made sure the food was customized as per my preferences, which made the experience very comfortable and enjoyable. However, the billing process was quite disappointing. Due to internal system issues, bills could not be generated and I was told that the server was down across hotels in India. In addition, the 20% discount on food, which was part of the terms, was not provided. While the stay was good overall, I feel the billing and discount policies need better management

Overall experience was great, the rooms were great but the breakfast service was very slow and poor.

The room was on the ground floor over looking the pool. It had an additional door, probably adjoining the next room. Thankfully it was locked. For vintage vibes it’s a good stay. Breakfast and dinner buffet wasn’t that great. The same menu was there for breakfast except there was a change in few dishes rest it felt like a stat menu.

Good experience, worm people and ambience. Food to be better, room is damp. Overall good experience, team is good, ambience is also very good. Room was damp during my stay. Food needs improvement. Food is the weakest area.
