The stay was great, the villa was sea facing. The breakfast however was extra crowded with long waiting periods on all 3 days. We had to wait for over 20 mins one day with a baby in our arms, no place to sit and wait also. Apart from that the staff and travel desks were really helpful. Would visit again.

The food quality was below average. Very limited food options in breakfast. Also they feed same food every single day in breakfast. About room service. One of the very worse services I have seen so far. Buggies never came on time. When you want to go out, but it came it 1 minute when you want to Checkout. Over all - Vest of money.

The greats - Amazing views, perfect hospitality, rooms were great, food was next level. Small improvements- rooms are far off so room dining or any request takes 30 mins on average to fulfill. Bugee service also takes some time. Kids play den activites can be improved.

Disappointing Experience at Taj – Not Worth the 23K a Night

We expected a seamless and luxurious stay at the Taj, but it turned out to be one of our most disappointing hotel experiences. To start with, we had a late check-in — though it was compensated with an upgrade to a “luxury” room, the problems began soon after. Late at night, we heard a strange mechanical noise in the room that went on continuously. For over two hours (past midnight), we tried to figure it out ourselves with no success. Around 1:00 AM, we finally called reception — the technician came, couldn’t locate the issue, and by 1:30 AM, we were moved to another room. To our shock, the “replacement” was nothing close to the upgraded luxury room — it honestly felt like a downgraded, cramped service room. The problems didn’t stop there — service throughout the stay was painfully slow. Housekeeping forgot basic amenities like towels, and even for something as simple as a buggy or car request, we had to keep calling multiple times and wait endlessly. For a property of Taj’s reputation, the experience was a huge letdown. The staff was polite but clearly uncoordinated and inattentive. At this price point, you expect efficiency, comfort, and proactive service — none of which we experienced. Would not recommend, especially given how poorly they handled a night-time issue and the overall lack of responsiveness.

planned a short end of monsoon trip with family with my daughter having her first experience of the sea booked the hotel as thought the aguada fort background and the beautiful long beach will be great to initiate her to the sea. hotel is lush green but the rooms don't match the price charged for them. rooms offered by competition are 100% bigger. food is so so at caravela as it lacks variety and quality. we took the all meals buffet option and were disappointed with limited variety. service was again so so....right from checkin which took so long to me and my family waiting outside the room in the rain to wait for the keys. the helpdesk number is more confusing as it's a common number for holiday village and taj aguada ...surprising that every time you called the hotel helpdesk line either it was routed or I had to wait for 4 mins or it got disconnected. few housekeeping calls went unheard as I had to call them up after 30 mins of no response even for few bottles of water. all in all it was an average trip for which I shelled out a bomb but service quality will not come again
